Best curly product for us (3Cish) that keeps hair soft and defined
Love this for my daughter’s hair! We tried very expensive top brands, different conditioners, hair milk, leave in treatment, and for twice the cost nothing has been as good as this. The only close runners up are Camille Rose and Kinky Curly Curling custard. However, Camille Rose is incredibly expensive and Kinky Curly Curling Custard is very thick and heavy. It defined my daughter’s curls but I had to use it on every single strand and after re-adding it a few days later her hair was really waxy. This Taliah Brand is new for us. I received from a friend and was skeptical at first because I’ve been down this new product road time and time again. But we were blown away. Not only did this make her curls defined, it also was light weight and didn’t cause any build up or flaking. Literally, her hair stayed soft every day. We just part her hair in about 6-8 sections (for 6-8 twists or braids) , wet hair hair with a spray bottle, take a dallop of this stuff and run it through with our fingers (not every single strand either like the kinky curly and her hair doesn’t have to be soaking wet either). We braid it or curl it at night and pull it apart in the morning. Sometimes I touch the morning curls up with a little bit, but this product has definitely made it easy for my daughter to wear her natural curls with pride. If you don’t want to braid or twist, just wet your hair with a spray bottle and finger the product through sections, tease it out a little and the curls should still look good. This is a clear, soft gellish product that does not harden the hair at all. It actually keeps it soft and pretty. Some extra notes and tips about our curly hair journey:My daughter has incredibly dry hair so I started washing her hair with Kera Care detangling shampoo which works very well for moisture and deep condition it with the Mane Choice product line, specifically the deep treatment mask in the black and purple tube and I follow that with the Conditioner. I’ve found that all products in a brand don’t work equally for her hair so I go with what works. We gave up on Shea Moisture a long time ago. The only product I recommend here that works for our family is the Detangling Leave in Conditioner. It is in fact a great Detangler. The other helpful detangler is Its A 10. (I also found that using Chi’s Keratin Oil significantly detangles her hair, but I don’t use it often because of the cost and the long term affects of Keratin on her curls.)I live by the wet brush and a big tooth comb. Trust me, her curls are gorgeous, but super tangly. Even the hair stylist has said she has extremely tangly hair but when you see the curls now, they rarely look as dry and kinky as they used to.I know I went on a tangent but I understand the struggle is real with curly hair. At $7, this one is worth a try and if it doesn’t work for you the first time, try it once more combined with a nice deep treatment of your hair. If it doesn’t work then, hand it over to someone else with curly hair because it might work better for them. Curly hair is unfortunately not created equal! But just remember, no outter covering, like a gel, will work at its full potential if the inner strand of the hair has not been taken care of.

Curl Sealer: Awesome Gel Moisturizer
Definitely the product you want for your wash and go's. Tames at least 80/percent of frizz helping to define curls. Not too lightweight , it's heaviness issue to it's moisturizing components. Not flaky at all, does not look or feel dull or crunchy when dry . Applies like gel dries like moisturizer! And the best part is no harsh ingredients or petroleum. Thanks again Taliah!

I absolutely love this brand
I have been using this on my sons hair since he was a toddler he’s now 11, I stopped for a while cause I couldn’t find it anymore, it’s the best product for mixed/biracial hair I have found, I’ve tried everything from super expensive brands to lower cost, this has worked the best and smells so good.. we wash his hair brush it out with the leave in lotion then section it 6-8 , put this in each section twist and let dry overnight, undo in am , it’s perfect curls for about a week long, will add some of there mouse in between if needed.

I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH...DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP
OK. I had reviewed this product before but I had only used a touch of it. I'm re-reviewing because I am so ticked right now. Do not buy this stuff...do not! I washed my hair and used it afterward...putting some in my palm and running it through my hair. I noticed it had a weird sound in my hair. Exactly like the sound your hair makes when you forget to rinse out shampoo but I ignored it. Then I started putting on my makeup for an xmas party. A few minutes in, I notice huge white flakes in my hair. It looked like large dandruff all down the length of my hair. So I bent over the bathtub and used the jet nozzle to try to rinse it out. Nope..its stuck in there like glue. So I tried again, nope. Again, nope. Now my makeup is ruined...I'm soaked and this crud is still in my hair. I had to use a brush (on my damn curls) to get most of it out. The rest I had to pick out of my hair one by one. It was ridiculous. I had to then rinse the crap out of my brush. My curls are now going to suck for the day because I don't have time to start all over again. I also got a hair stuff under my nail while I'm cursing and screaming and ticked off and tore my nail off. And I'm late for the damn party. I ended up throwing this stuff in the trash can with the force of a major league pitcher on meth. IT SUCKS...DO NOT BUY!!! This company makes a curl cream (not a gel) that is easily the best curl cream on the market...but this stuff is not it...do not buy. I'm now even later cause I'm writing this review...but I had to warn people because it just ruined my afternoon. Please, please do not buy this junk. And to the company that makes it...take it off the market because it is TERRIBLE and customers are going to hate you which is too bad because your curl cream is excellent.

The PERFECT lightweight gel for curls.
I love this stuff. I've been using it for years, and it's proved the perfect gel for my 3a/3b curls. This is generally the only product (other than conditioner) I use. I really like that I can apply it to both wet and dry hair, and it won't do that awful dry, tacky helmet thing. My hair keeps all it's bounce and movement, but with less frizz. I usually apply about a nickel to quarter size amount (my hair reaches my waist), both smoothing the top and scrunching, and go. That's usually enough to keep the frizz in check, and my curls feeling smooth and defined all day, even in hot weather. I strongly recommend this for people who want a easy, lightweight solution for everyday frizz.

Poorly packaged
The product was placed in a paper sleeve. Needed to say it was damaged. The hassle to return the product is a nightmare. And I’ll be charged again for it if they don’t get it back. The product was in a plastic wrapping & because the container was cracked open the gel leaked out and into the sleeve that was torn open & all wet & goopy. We’ve used it in the past. It was a good product. This one smells off. Like bad sunflower seeds.
