Great gift, good creativity, fun for all and keep it for decoration
I bought it for my children. I feel this is good to get creativity. I and children also have fun by using it. I mostly like that it can be run manually and also through battery. Here is some of the pros and cons which I feel after using it. Pros:- • It has an instruction book, by using instruction book it is easy to build by reading instruction. All parts are fixed in many frames, you have to detach from each frame, also each frame has alphabet so you can identify each part by using book. You can help your children and give ideas to improve their creativity. • It is made of wood, and the edge of each part is smooth so there is less chance to hurt you when fixing it. Material quality is adequate. • All required tools are given in the box to build it. • 10 marbles are in the package, so enough for use and fun. • After making it, you can keep it in showcase in drawing room and can use in decoration of the party. • This is one of the best gift to children. Cons:- • Box does not have batteries. • It’s is made of wooded, so it has little bit more weight.

Amazing gift for the kids.
My kids love playing with marble runs. I saw this build kit and decided to give it a try. Pros: - All Wood. The entire marble run is made from wood with the exception of the plastic panel for battery operated portion. The pieces are held together by carefully placed holes and small pieces of wood that are hammered in. - Instructions. Very straight forward and easy to follow instructions. Cons: - Fragile. The assemble requires a bit of pressure to get the pieces together for a snug and tight fit. However, if too much pressure is applied, the wood can break since the pieces are thin and fragile. Overall, this marble run is great. Assembly is time-consuming in all the good ways. It keeps the kids busy while teaching them patience. The end result is amazing and worth the time and effort put into it.

Fun build, but there are a few things you should know
First of all, have some wood glue handy. A lot of the pieces are very long and flimsy, and no matter how careful I tried to be, I broke a few. Thankfully, they were able to be glued back together, and it did not affect the finished product. Secondly, the piece that is supposed to go on the left side of the stairs (F4) prevented the stairs from moving freely. I tried waxing them, I tried filing them down, and they kept binding the stairs up. I finally decided to ditch the piece altogether and replace it with a shoelace that kept the steps in place, so they wouldn’t fall over, but loose enough that they move freely (see picture). There were a few other places where I needed to do some filing down so that the balls could transfer from one piece to another. But that was not a big deal. The final issue was that in many places, the balls would stop moving, or even begin moving in the wrong direction. To fix this, I ended up gluing a couple of the spare pieces onto the bottom, in order to prop the back part up. That seems to have fixed that problem. After all those adjustments, the marble run works pretty good about 80% of the time. Still, I gave it four stars because it was a fun build, and overall I’m happy with how it turned out.

Fun science in a box
For my son's engineering unit in science this year, we added this kit to his projects and experiments. He had an absolute blast with it! It is very well designed and he loved how he could see how it all worked when put together. The wooden pieces just get popped out of the boards, then assembled following the well written clear directions. It was truly mezmerizing to watch and my son even tried several different obstacle configurations to work with it, including some minifigs. It was a lot of fun and we will definitely try more of these in the future!

when it says to file down the pieces, do it!
could be because it was the first one of these i've tried, but it was difficult and i found the end result to be somewhat disappointing. especially because it didn't work. the moving staircase was a bitch to assemble and never worked correctly. consequently, it was useless except as something to show people that i did (in still pictures only). also, unless you have some kind of display area for these kinds of things when they're done, these's nothing to do with it afterwards. except maybe pitch it in the trash. still, it was an enjoyable way to wind down. i can also state that the nice woody smell from the pieces was kind of comforting.

Absolutely amazing with just a small caveat
I know this puzzle is meant for 14+ years old, but I find smaller kid can help popping some parts out. It was such a great family activity to assemble it and enjoy the stunning outcome - the fancy marble run! I'd give it 5 stars for both reasons above. It's also quite thoughtful to include some spare parts, especially the tiny ones. I did break two during the assemble. Seeing I had some extra is reassuring. This is my first 3D wooden puzzle. Maybe I did it wrong, but my fingers (thumbs and index fingers) are very sore after assemble it. That's the only minor complaint I had. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the puzzle.

Highly Fragile
Nothing like seeing your child excited and dedicated to building something only to have it disintegrate in their hands. We experienced a few minor breaks in the initial phase that we were able to rig on our own to move forward. But it didn’t stop there and after hours of assembly pieces continued to break during assembly without ways to repair or move forward. My son is a highly patient, avid builder, so I know that the inability to complete this set was not his fault but the materials and design. Each piece required such force to assemble that breaks of fragile crucial connectors was inevitable. So I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this product to anyone if you actually want to enjoy your time and complete the item in its entirety.

Great marble run, but pay attention to the stairs
Product was easy to assemble, is solid and works fine, but I read reviews where the stairs don't drop. To make sure this doesn't happen to you, you need to use whatever means possible (wax, file, sandpaper) to allow the stairs to drop on their own. Do this after steps 28, 30 and 34 and it will work fine. Don't proceed any further until the stairs drop freely
