SINGERExtension Table for Computerized Heavy Duty Sewing Machines

The media could not be loaded. This is my second extension table I bought from Singer. During the first delivery it got damaged, one of the clips broke off. I returned it and got another one. It fits perfectly on my machine (Model #4423) as you can see in the video and I can't wait to test it out.

I have a Singer 4423 Heavy Duty mechanical sewing machine. When I needed an extension table for quilting I saw there were several to choose from but I felt the Singer brand would be the most well made and most likely to fit my machine so I paid the extra amount for the name brand. It arrived quickly. When I put it on my machine there were 2 tabs at the end of the arms that had no where to connect into my machine. My daughter went to the Singer site and found that this extension table was for machines made after fall of 2019. My machine was made in 2001. I was sad to think I couldn't use it but several people wrote reviews that said they simple snapped off the tabs and it worked fine. So I did just that .... and yes, it works just fine without the tabs. I'm glad I did not send it back. It works very well.

This extension table works on specific singer sewing machine models. It does say so in the description but I didn't know if my machine was from Vietnam or not so I gave it a shot.Apparently my machine is not compatible with this product. Even though the model number was listed. It doesn't fit flush because of the clips on it.I think an easy way to know is remove the storage compartment on your arm and look to see if you have some holes that you could insert the notches of this extension table on the right. My machine doesn't.I also put a snap shot of the box with the model numbers AND serial numbers that this table is compatible with for future buyers. That information would be great in the description by the way.The legs can be adjusted to the height you need just twist them until they are level. The overall quality is good.I'm giving 4 stars only because I'm disappointed it doesn't work on my sewing machine and the description doesn't include the serial number. That would have helped me make a better decision and I would have passed on this.

I ordered Singer Heavy Duty 4423. Also purchased an extension table, wrong one. Ordered a 2nd extension. table, realized it wouldn't fit either, so canceled order. No matter how I I tried to search for the correct one it wouldn't come up. I went to Singers actual website, found correct fitting one. Then I put the actual Sku # into Amazon... Bingo! This is it! Had this table not fit I planned to rtn. this machine & start over. I'm very pleased now & can begin my sewing & creativity !
