Excellent at this Price Point
This is my 2nd Essentials Hot Tub (but a different model from my last). The last one lasted 6 years and only wore out because of storm damage. This Hot Tub is amazing. I use the standard 110 and it was ready for use in less than 24 hours (starting water temp of 48 degrees and outside temps of 33-50). Delivery was exceptional. The service Amazon used placed the tub in my back yard exactly where I wanted it. This tub is larger than my last. Room for 4 very easily and could do 6 or 7 in a squeeze. Jets are strong and temperature lost only 2 degrees over 2 hours in 55 degree air temp. Cover that is included is good quality with a tapered 3 inch center peak. We are heading into spring, so I will keep this cover for now (I usually get a 4 or 5 inch peak cover, but that is because most portable tubs come with a worthless flat cover. This one is actually pretty good). I’ve had good luck with Essential Spas. Will update this review down the road.

Worked six weeks and died
Worked six weeks Had it professionally installed, solid electrician with years of experience Worked like a dream for six weeks Started having problems with the breaker Paid electrician to come back He tried everything including new separate breaker New outlet Nothing brought it back Finally he checked power FROM the system Board was fried. Saw no water leaking, no reason Immediately tried contacting seller Was given generic trouble shoot list Nothing worked Reached out to Amazon. The return window closed in a month. It worked just over a month. Out five THOUSAND dollars for something that worked six weeks Tried to be put in touch with warranty info from seller They never, ever responded

Starter tub now our permanent tub!
We’ve had this a year now and it’s a gem. We wanted to try out a less expensive hot tub to see if we would use it before investing in a more expensive tub. We are in it 4-5 times a week. In the summer, we use it as a cool tub, just turned off the heat. We’re not even thinking about another tub. This is the perfect size for two people. You could fit four people easily, we just haven’t tried that. Easy to maintain daily. Drains easily, which we did when going on extended vacation. We did have a problem with the plug and contacted warranty. They immediately dispatched the part to a local repair person that came out and fixed it within a week. No cost to us.

Chinese
Missing stuff like screws to mount the cover tension straps, no instructions of safe locations on the sides to drill/screw. When I took off the maintenance access panel to see if anything that was missing was inside that space I see lots of Chinese writing. The claim was that this was made in Pennsylvania? Haven’t even started it yet and already running into trouble. Tried using the link provided for customer support and it’s not working. A sign of whats to come for sure. This was a lot of money for what I got here. Not happy

Good value
Very relaxing and worth the money. It has not increased my electric bill by much even through a cold Colorado winter. The jets are not as powerful as I had hoped and it will only allow heating up to 104 degrees. I have not converted to 220 yet, but that may help. I have had it almost a year and use it every night.

The Real Deal
This is a very roomy and wonderful hot tub, full of features. It comfortably would fit four adults. Jets are variable but numerous and targeted towards your body according to where you sit. Just know it's really big, which can be an issue with shipping and delivery. The shipper wouldn't back down my driveway for delivery and we had to hire out someone with a skid loader for placement. After that, just plug in and heat. Absolutely love it!

Bargain Buy!
For the money this is an excellent buy. It’s well made and sturdy. Delivery was crazy fast and communication for the drop off was fluid. It comes on its side strapped to a pallet which makes it fairly easy to move. Although it’s heavy, my wife and I moved it around the house into the back yard on the pallet and were able to unstrap, lay it down and maneuver onto it the porch without any problems. Running 110v set up and will see how that works before investing in the 220v option. We added a hydraulic lid lift which I would also recommend for convenience and ease.

Do not recommend
Only able to use it for one season and it stopped working. Needs a new motor so now just sitting collecting dust.
