Great quality & serves it's purpose...

i used it to help me connect my Bosch router table dust port to my DEWALT hose adapter, ultimately leading to my DCV581H shop vac. Both dust ports met at2.5” and this little device holds everything very securely.

The unit is sold in inches: 4 inches. But the hose clamps are not 1/4 inch drive screws. I will have to use a Phillips driver and then tighten with a wrench. It is what I wanted, but the clamps were a real disappointment. I had a set of nut drives out and ready for installation when the package arrived. Only to be delayed as I fetched more tools. I found a 9/32 socket drive that worked.

ITEM SOLVED MY CONNECTION CHALLENGE FOR 4' DUST PORTS ON JET JWTS-10 TS TO 4" DUST COLLECTOR HOSE.THE "FLEX CUFF" 70136 FITS THE DUST CHUTE PERFECTLY, ONLY MOD WAS A PIECE OF PVC FOR HOSE TO BUCK TOOL.FOR MY GARAGE SHOP THIS PART WILL HELP CAPTURE DUST AT SOURCE WHEN ITS TOO COLD TO TAKE IT OUT DOORS.ITEM DOES WORK FOR MY UNIT WITH VERY SLIGHT MOD.

Bought this to couple a commercial vacuum adapter (from home depot) to my dewalt table saw dust port. I'd spent a bit of time trying to find something that would work until I found this and it fits perfectly! Would highly recommend!

Extremely high quality manufacturing. The hex head screws they used could have been standardized 1/4 inch so screw gun chuck fit without needing to use a Phillips but that would have made this a 5 star rating. No complaints about the quality. I will buy more.

Used this to connect the dust port on my Ridgid bench top spindle/edge sander to a "2-1/4 inch" elbow (sized to be the female to a male shopvac hose). Both the dust port and the elbow fitting were exactly 2-1/2 inch OD. This worked perfectly to secure them together in a semi-rigid, compact fashion (space was a concern for me between the back of the tool and the wall). Not sure of the exact dimension ranges for this flex cuff, but when connecting these two pieces (2-1/2 inch OD), the cuff had plenty of wiggle room when loose, but tightened down snug with only a few turns of the band clamps.

Works very well on all my machines for dust collection. Only reason I give it 3 stars is the price. Lee valley now offers this item for $11.50 instead of the $20 plus dollars. Won’t purchase here again unless the price matches.

I first was using Duct tape, then added this to keep the 2.5 inches adapter on my table saw. which reduces to 1.5 inches to hook up to the vacuum .
