Bought this pin to complete a Hobbit costume for a party and it was perfect! Lots of reviews mentioned that the clasp didn't work well but I didn't have any problems. It clipped together and stayed clasped all day, and it held my cloak together really sturdily. The green is really pretty and bright, and definitely draws the eye to it. A must-have for any lotr costume/cosplay!

It looks just like the pin from the movie. Made a great finishing touch to my kid’s costume. Quality metal clasp and pin with smooth edges.

Looks and feels a bit cheap, but not as much as in the picture. The clasp feels a bit flimsy, but it hasn't broken after several months on my jacket. Don't think it would hold a cloak together, so if you want it for cosplay, have something else securing your cloak shut and this over as decoration.The green is very pretty, and it makes for a nice conversation piece.

This was a great gift for my husband, who loves LOTR. The clasp was a bit difficult to work, but once it was on, it looked great!

I usually use it on scarves, shawls, or just as a pin. Its really cute and I have even worn it to renn faire a few times. Definitely worth the money and a perfect size!!

Used for a costume - it was perfect.

I bought 2 for me and my friend. His was fine. Mine broke at the end of the pin base, so I glued it because there was no time to return/replace it. Well, it just fell off my cloak and it is no where to be found. It was "on" for about an hour... if that. Anyway, I'd like to have it replaced or refunded but I won't be able to return it as it is somewhere lost in a parking lot. I was excited to get it and use it, but my excitement was short-lived.

I was hesitant to order after reading the reviews, but these broaches are absolutely perfect! They're beautiful to look at, sturdy pin on the back, affordable, and they arrived in less than 48 hours! Highly recommend.
