High Quality battery with lousy support.
This is a review of the 200ah Powerurus Lifepo4 battery which I have owned now for 10 weeks. Purchased Sep 2022.I bought this battery after seeing a teardown/disassembly of the 100ah battery on YouTube. On the video the insides were well made and the BMS had high and low temperature protection and was made by Roypow which is the mother company of Powerurus. I bought the 200ah battery with my own money for regular price.I had looked at ordering the battery directly from the Powerurus website but could not reach their support about a few questions I had then. I found the battery slightly cheaper on Amazon and order it there. Through Amazon, the seller was very quick to respond. I received the battery quickly and it was packed very well with a custom soft-foam lining inside of two boxes. The case for the battery was reasonably well made sealed plastic box with two rope handles at the ends. I connected the app, RoyPow Fish, with ease which told me the battery was at 13% charge and was on it’s 2nd cycle when I received it which is normal as batteries are tested in the factory. The 200 ah version has a 200 amp BMS which allows output up to 200 amps before the BMS turns off the connection. I personally have pulled 130 amps which the battery did with ease. But my typical output is 3 - 10 amps with sources using the 12 volts directly for lights and computer equipment. Many of these items are ON 24/7 and the battery is being charged indirectly from solar using Rowpow’s C146 battery charger. The Good:I feel these are good cells as the difference between the cells have remained very low. Though I have not seen the inside of the battery I bought, the video teardown looked like quality insides. The packaging of the product was top notch and the case is sealed. The app connected well and lists basic information for the battery. The seller through Amazon has been responsive to any questions I have had about shipping or technical details and has gone the “extra mile” to make me happy. The Bad:The Roypow Fish App is very simple and connected to my battery easily via bluetooth. The app has one critical flaw that the total amps is always a negative number regardless to if the battery is charging or discharging. NOTE: A NEW APP WAS CREATED IN 2023 which fixed this issue: The iOS App was released in May of 2022 and has never had an update as of the time of this review. I have not used the Android app which had an update on Aug 28. The app has many undocumented features such as a Wifi button that the amazon seller indicated was to toggle between different batteries if you had two Powerurus batteries. Under the “Me” tab of the app, it has the Management mode which requires a passcode and Data Query Function which I am not sure of their function. The links on the app store to the developers website, http://www.zero-yun.com/ do not work. As well as the privacy policy link does not work.Support: My goal is to connect to this battery with a home automation system to determine when to charge it. I tried to get support through the Powerurus website, the Roypow website, the developers website and the only limited support I found was through the Amazon Seller links which determined the battery did not have the capability I wanted. Conclusion: I am overall happy with the actual battery it seems of good quality and is powering my loads fine. However I paid a premium price for the advanced features of this battery that is not supported. Possibly in the future the app will be updated or the company will offer better support. I will update my review if appropriate.Update February 2023: In more recent times the app began to show a 99% SOH and an actual capacity of 199AH, however I did my first discharge to 0% and full charge and this returned the SOH to 100% and the actual capacity to 201AH.Update May 2023: Roypow create a new iOS app from a new developer. It works much better.Update May 2024: My battery is doing well the app shows a 96% SOH now. Additionally the iOS app has been updated more. On the downside the SOH is removed, but the app works better. My old android phone still shows SOH. Roypow has dropped their price considerably, so now I do consider this a good buy.

Reliable entry level lifepo.
Purchased two to make my own solar generator. So far I have had zero issues. They produce the amount of watts I would expect and last bays between charges.

Solid 100Ah, bluetooth/app a big plus
Performed flawlessly so far. Measured 100.87Ah from charger disconnect to low-voltage disconnect with a 1-11A varying load on first cycle. The bluetooth connectivity is a big plus though the "RoyPow fish" app has some quirks. (See screenshot. Remaining discharge time should be 16 hours 33 Minutes, not 16 Day.) None of the other apps tried would connect. It would be nice if the protocol was published so the battery could be integrated in to Home Assistant.I chose this over similar batteries after being impressed with the build quality from watching teardowns online.

Very Good quality battery that deserves a better quality case.
My first experience with this Battery was not so good, it arrived damaged from very rough UPS handling, it looked like UPS dropped it out the back of a truck. The case was broken and was leaking LiPF6 electrolyte, when LiPF6 is exposed to water (H2O) it releases hydrogen fluoride (HF), HF is an extremely toxic, corrosive gas and liquid. PowerUrus sent out a replacement Battery but I had to dispose of the damaged one that was sitting in my driveway. I ended up paying a Battery center to take away the leaking battery.I'm pleased with the second battery and after seeing inside was impressed with build quality I just wish they'd use a better case that matches the internal components, I'd pay extra for a case that keeps this battery safer than the thin cheap generic case most builders use. If you have this Battery be sure to load the APP on your cell, it offers a lot of information thats useful to me. Cycle counter is in the App too.

Poor Quality/Terrible Customer Service
Like many others have mentioned. Battery was shipped dead upon arrival. Tested with multimeter and tried charging with many different chargers. Battled over a month for seller is to pay shipping cost back. Seller kept mentioning I had to have specific Lithium charger and that they were gonna send me one to test. They never did. Had to get Amazon Customer Care/Claim department involved. Avoid at all cost.

Excellent product!
I purchased this Lithium battery for my 38' Travel Trailer. Having never used Lithium battery before I found myself getting very confused. Just about every forum advised buying from a well known brand (ie: Battleborn) even if you have to pay more. Long story short, I took a chance on this less expensive battery from a company I never heard of, and I couldn't be more pleased!CUSTOMER SERVICE - 5 stars: I had a lot of questions after I purchased it and they answered every one! My only gripe, and it's more getting more-and-more common is that you can only communicate via email - I really prefer being able to speak with someone on the phone. But they were responsive - even to questions I'm sure they felt were foolish!BATTERY PROTECTION SYSTEM / DISPLAY- 5 stars (so far - I haven't used it in freezing weather yet). But the bluetooth read-out that gives the percentage of remaining charge as well as the voltage output is very good. The bluetooth connects to my phone in easily a 15 foot radius.- NOTE: I was a little put off by the name of the app that I had to download from the Google Play Store: "RoyPowFish" seems like a questionable name for a professional display - but it works great (despite it's dumb name!!)PRICE - 5 stars: It does everything that's advertised and close to half the cost of the more well-known brands.I would buy it again!

Great battery for running ham radios or the like...
I have three of these batteries. One for running a pir light in my bathroom and two other for TWO-WAY mobile/base station radios (UHF, VHF) in quick deployment pelican cases. Excellent batteries especially if you can get one on sale.
