Game Changer!
One hundred 💯 percent YES!I have been on a journey from being able to walk for miles, completely on my own steam, to requiring a wheelchair, to wearing custom orthotics, then over-the-counter orthotics, and finally culminating with these right and left drop foot braces.Since my purchase, I am feeling more and more liberated. These braces have been a game changer! My drop foot is no longer such a major impediment. Somehow these light weight foot wraps, made from fabric and Velcro, manage to do what my toes and feet cannot do on their own. They allow my feet and toes to sufficiently clear the ground without dragging or dropping. As a result, I no longer have to lift my legs when walking, both my gait and speed have improved, and I rarely trip.I am so grateful to whom ever devised and manufactured this product as, with them, my ability and confidence while walking has enhanced my ambulatory freedom. They have eliminated the need for more bulky, medal laden orthotics.I definitely recommend this product, especially for those suffering from drop foot who also have good balance and strong legs.

Helps Me Walk With My Foot Drop
I got foot drop in 2022. It was hard to get to doctors because of transportation issues, and my legs get puffy, so the AFO that goes up to my knee didn't always fit me. I bought this product on a whim. It helps me walk so much better! I can walk properly with this on, and bonus: it's easy to put in my shoe! I am truly grateful for this product and honestly, I wish I found it sooner. Thank you for making such a good product to help people like me walk safely.

Best I have found still not perfect
I bought 4 different braces for drop foot and this is the only one that keeps my foot at the correct angle without adding extra weight to my leg. I like the no slip grip on the ankle strap and appreciate that the bottom is lightly padded for extra support and comfort. My only complaint is that I have to readjust it often and the straps are a bit too long/stretchy so the direction I have to pull them in ends up squeezing the sides of my foot instead of just lifting it. Either way it’s better than my hospital boot or anything else I’ve tried. Comfortable enough to sleep in without worrying about circulation and does not irritate my sensitive skin.

Difficult to get on correctly
This is difficult to get on correctly, but was okay while I was waiting the three weeks for my custom orthotic. It did support my ankle, if I could get it on right.

Not adequate
I bought this for positioning at night due to plantar fasciitis and tendonitis in my ankle. I have the least pain during the day after sleeping in a boot at night. Boots are bulky and hard to sleep in. I thought this might work. However, it slides around and still allows me to easily plantar flex, which is a poor habit I have when sleeping that contributes to my issue. In order to limit movement It has to be so tight around my ankle that it hurts. The bottom isn’t as long as the foot so it pushes into the bottom of my foot causing discomfort. It won’t work for me.I also keep thinking how this should NOT be marketed as a substitute for an AFO. It’s certainly not supportive enough to prevent foot drop during mobility. The purpose of a AFO is so you don’t trip over your toes. The bottom of this hangs down when it’s tightened (due to the angle of the straps) and I can’t imagine you wouldn’t trip over it, unless it’s in a shoe.. but there’s not a chance it’ll fit in a shoe. Many people who need an AFO lack lateral stability as well to prevent lateral rolling or injury of the ankle. The rigidity of an AFO provides that support. This thing does not. Also, it is “padded” on the bottom with a ridged/hard mesh which will likely cause discomfort, blisters and pressure injuries if you were to walk on it or wear for any extended period of time. Beware if you have sensory deficits!

Best brace by far
Severe foot drop have tried many expensive braces and this one I love best by far and I feel like I can walk again without worrying about my toe catching and making me trip.

This is completely useless for drop foot
The media could not be loaded. I ordered one for each of my feet which have pretty severe foot drop, and it can only go so tight before my foot loses ciculation, but regardless of how tight it i, it slides right down my feet when i move them to put my shoes on. The pad on the bottom feels like a rock is in my shoes, and my feet arent even trying to stay curved with these, had a crappier one that hooked to the shoe lace and it was less worthless than these. Completely disappointed and spent money I do not have extra of as a young person on something only for it to be a piece of crap.

My husband won’t leave the house without them!
If you know anyone with drop foot and are non-compliant with wearing those stupid, cheaply made plastic AFOs, you need to tell them to bite the bullet and buy a pair of these! No, I am not getting paid for my review. But I am super thankful that these actually worked for my husband. He loves them. He is 61 and had a stroke in 2016. He is also a diabetic, and, due to the stroke and diabetic neuropathy, he slowly began to get foot drop in both feet. Within the last year, I saw him reaching for external support and compensating for the drop foot with hip flexion - as if he marched everywhere. That is exhausting for a person not to mention made him unstable.I work in PT and had been hounding him to get an order for custom made AFOs (Ankle foot Orthoses). He finally did. He even went to the Orthotist to have them made. However, after insurance covered their share, we would have been responsible for over $2k for each AFO!!!! So what did I do? I went shopping on Amazon, of course!I read the reviews about this particular brace. I ordered 2 of these and 2 of the kind that you can loop onto your laces. Well, the other 2 are still in the packages because he loves these so much.Pros: prevents him from falling, quick to get on, fit in his shoes, made pretty sturdilyCons: he is very sore from using THE CORRECT muscles he should have been using all along, the Velcro will eventually give way I’m sure.Do not hesitate if you are thinking about buying these. And the worst thing to happen is you’ll have to return them. Win-win!
