Looks really nice
The other glass I had broke and is been bothering it look really ugly bought this glass and owww made the bathroom look nice and cover that ugly exposure of the lightbulb

Incorrect measurements
CON: The "fitter" measurement described on the web site says the fitter diameter is 8". As it was recieved the diameter measured 7-9/16 inches. For the type of mounting used for this shade that is a significant variation.I replaced the 3 mounting screws that secure the shade to the light fixture with slightly longer ones and problem solved.PRO: The shade is an almost exact replica of the one that had been hanging in that spot for 103 years. Very pleased with the look of the shade. Nice quality.

is this really glass???
Seemed to fit ok. but it feels way to light to be glass. it does not feel like glass. it does not sound like glass when i tap it. i am worried the heat will make it melt?!?!? I hope the seller responds to verify it is glass and will not melt.
