great lighting options
Very happy! I chose LAGOM because of the 5/8 thickness and direct wiring. They are beautifully slim and disappear under the cabinets. Color and brightness options were great. I added a dimmer for even more control and am delighted! I normally loathe LED light, but it’s actually cozy! In the morning and at night we use these as our primary ambient kitchen lights. As some other reviews have noted, the slim design means that things are very crowded in the wiring compartment. I carefully cut the small cable tie so that the connectors could be staggered (see pic). Once the connections were made it was much easier to close the cover again.Just FYI, the middle access on the 22” light is off center almost 2 inches to the left for some reason. Other lights are centered. Both the 22” and the 30” have an additional knockout on the left side. The whole “INPUT” “OUTPUT” thing is a bit confusing. It really has nothing to do with how the power flows. The “output” side of the connector has a little plastic hook that snaps to lock it in. (If you need to pull it out for some reason, you can lift that little hook when the cover is off). The “Input” side has a little tab that prevents it going into the output port. They should really just call them A and B. Once you hardwire the first light in a series, you can connect lights in either direction, through either port. My layout was power to Light A , 12 inch linking cord (bought separately) for turning the corner to the left to Light B, then end-to-end connector to Light C. Everything works perfectly.Open all the packages right away. One of the lights came with the wrong connector and screws that were too long. I’m glad I checked or I would have screwed through the bottom of my cabinet. I had some other little screws that I could use. But you may need to re-order. Customer service answered my email questions within 24 hours and was very helpful. All in all I highly recommend these lights!

Perfect For Lighting Up My Kitchen
I needed updated, under-counter lighting for a kitchen redo I was starting. These lights were perfect for the job. The color of the frames matched the cabinets. I replaced the older fluorescent lighting kits that were in the kitchenette. We were able to set the lighting to be warmer for the room. We bought a variety of sizes to fit the various widths of the upper cabinets. We directly wired them and chained them together. Easy to install and each provides the perfect amount of light. These were a bit more money than other options, but the quality of the build was a big value for the features offered.

Light with Cord
Great light and was easy to install with a cord. I wish the cord came in a longer length than just six foot. That is the only team I gave it four stars.

THESE LIGHTS BLINK BETTER than any other brand !!
The media could not be loaded. I had about 40 feet of under-shelf and paid $ 500 to buy Lagom lights off Amazon. They are only lights just 5/8" thick, wow ! So why do they blink? If you bang them? If you hammer nail on shelf? If you play stereo too loud? These lights blink !!! I study very carefully. It is NOT the power cord. It is NOT the power connection ! I find even if you gently TORQUE the lamp (gentle twist bending) THEY BLINK !! WHY? I am circuit designer. I am puzzled. Most likely it is low quality power switch, OR maybe mis-usage of electronic IC, did not tie-off unused logic pin. DID I RETURN THE DEFECTIVE BLIKING LIGHTS? ALL blink especially 30" NOPE! I am keeping them. ONLY size that is 5/8" thick, I have to keep !! If they blink much more, I TAKE APART AND FIX THEM MYSELF. Hope you are also able to that, if yours blink like mine.

Connectors do not work
I had two licensed electricians (one apprentice) installing under cabinet lighting and other electrical needs. The intention was to run one electrical wire and connect two other of the same type of lights with the connectors provided on two different cabinets (3 lighting units on each cabinet). The units were all hooked up (a total of 6 units) and the only units that came on were the units hooked up to direct power. So four units would not power up. The connectors did not work. The electricians spent a lot of time trying different combinations of connectors, checking power, exploring for any loose connections, checking the pins on the connections/connectors, etc. with no luck. We finally ran wiring to each unit to make them work. All of this cost about an extra 3-4 hours. At 260 dollars an hour for the two electricians the simple process became a very expensive alternative. I am not pleased with the process. The connectors did not work and caused expensive problems. I would be careful if you purchase these with the intention of using the provided connectors.

Low low profile with great light
I installed these low profile (0.6 inches) lights myself in our kitchen without too much trouble. They are only intended for hardwire installation. If you want to plug your light into an outlet, you'll need to buy a 3 wire power cord pigtail or make one. Each light has Wago style wire connectors inside behind a removable panel. You can string the lights together, but make sure you have your wires matched correctly because once you insert a wire into the connector, it's not coming out again.Since the lights are low low profile there is not much room to stuff the wires in there, but I didn't have that much trouble with them. The way the strain relief is attached is very flimsy, especially if you are using solid wire. You can buy the plug-n-play wires to string the lights together, but it all ads up. I needed 10 lights in various sizes and the plug-n-play wires would have added another $100.The lights worked with our old dimmer, but your mileage may vary. All in all the lights work very well and are plenty bright. They have 2 brightness levels and 3 color temperatures.
