Initially I bought a different item. It was a super cute fish but the entry was so small. I didn't even try to get my littlest dog into it (she's 6 pounds). That was returned and I decided to try this. It was a little taller and bigger all around. The entry was 2-3x larger than the other one. It's not flimsy although it is soft and can fold up. I haven't tried washing yet. No bad odor. Great quality as fast as I can tell.So did my dog like it?My older dog is quite leggy and is 11 pounds. She's also lost her vision and become quite vocal. She's very protective of her space. I put her in the tent and she took to it immediately. It's on our couch so she can still be with us, have her own personal space when she wants it and not have to worry that anyone is going to bother her. Her grumbling has decreased dramatically when she's inside. She's free to come and go and we're all so happy she's happy.

I have purchased this style of pet bed/cave several times in the past from different sellers. My cats have used and enjoyed all of them. BUT I have to say this particular pet bed is the BEST I have ever purchased. I got the 19x19x19 size since it and the 16" were the same price. It popped open and held its shape without any effort, the fabric is very sturdy, soft corduroy. The pillow inside isn't flat like all the others I've had. It's thick and fluffy. Even though I was aware of the dimensions, this is still much bigger than I anticipated with plenty of room. My cat is a stocky tabby who weighs 12 pounds and there is enough room for one more cat his size without being crowded at all. My cat, Charlie went right inside as soon as I set it up and he hasn't come out yet! Over all, I am very impressed with the size, shape, appearance, quality. Everything about it is just amazing and I highly recommend it.

Nothing to dislike here! This is the 3rd bed I've purchased (for different rooms of the house) The 16x16 is a perfect size for my chihuahuas who are approx. 8 and 6 lbs. My dogs, I think feel so secure and warm in this cute lil hut! The hood is strong & stays up nicely, the removable bed is fluffy. Washes up great. It's got really nice fabric & is very well made & I love the cute embroidered dog on the front! I'm going to say one of the BEST beds I've purchased for them. HIGHLY recommend!

I floored by the quality - looks good, feels soft and fantastic value for the money. My pup, who is not crate trained, was coaxed into it by a treat and he stayed in it. Got the corduroy version and it's the thick (wide lines) material - looks like a patterned cloth instead of simply corduroy.Update: My pup was curled up on the sofa and he got up and walked inside of his Tent Bed - pup approved!Second update:1. It has a loop on top so you may hang it, if your pet likes the "hammock" feel.2. While my pup was inside, I placed a blanket over the opening to give him more privacy/darkness.3. My pup likes to jump on top of it. The top collapses onto itself and converts into a makeshift regular dog bed. I put a regular small bed inside the tent instead of the pillow that came with it. She loves her little cubby hole. Pekingese tend to like cozy places much like cats do. You can tell she is telling her mom to go away because she is happily snoozing in her tent. It is nicely padded and sewn, but the floor is very light weight material. She has gotten into it and scratched at the bottom making it thin in places. Only thing I'd change is making the bottom out of a thicker material. Overall I recommend it.
