My pc didnt blow up! Just kidding, this cable works, I needed it since I was upgrading my PSU. The little velcro is also really helpful and a welcone addition for cable management.

It was nice they included pictures in the ad to make sure it would work on your motherboard. Plugged it in and everything worked. Couldn't be anymore simple

Does what is needed

The cord is better quality and better price than the others, and works great in my PC. The larger motherboard plugin has two sections, one being a 4-pin, that’s a bit difficult to slide onto the other piece because you have to pull on the cords a bit to do it, so be careful. It did come with the little black wire for the F1 “Power supply fan not detected” error, but I still get the error every time I boot up my HP Elite 8100. It might be better in an 8200/8300. Still, it didn’t set my PC on fire like I’ve read about in reviews for other versions of this cord by other brands, nor did it short circuit my hardware. If not for the fan error, I’d give this five stars!

No upgrade would be possible. Allows the ease of upgrading to a bigger power supply and case

Does not work with HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF. Blinking green light. I'm now 0 for 3 on these adapters. Three strikes, I'm out. I give up. Just these adapters alone made it not even worth the cost to do a case-swap at this point. It's a shame there's so many of these adapters being falsely advertised as compatible.

I have a hp prodesk 600 G1 and was struggling to find the right psu adapter. This one almost gave me the blues again but after about 10 seconds my pc started up! I'm running a 800w psu for a rx 580 on a i7 4770. Only boot up problem is because I unplugged the front USB from the motherboard to fit the rx 580

Had to replace the power supply in a HP tower, this did the trick.

What is it for? A computer.Why did I need it? My friend told me to.I have not a clue of how, when, what, who, where, does is it for, but in the end, my computer works and thanks to my friend, now I have a better graphic card so I can play games. So I guess it serves its purpose properly.
