I love this leash! It is not only beautiful, it is so sturdy and well made… I also purchased a collar for my puppy and then another bigger one as she grew a ton in her first year.

I purchased the ROAM leashes and collars for 2 of my male dogs. The quality of both the leash and collars are excellent. They are very durable. It is the first brand that I have ever bought that has lasted for over a year and not broken. My dogs are over 100 lbs and they are rough on collars. I HIGHLY recommend this brand and will use them again in the future.

I recently discovered and already really like the ROAM products. I have four rescue dogs and they now have their own color collar and leash (before it was just a hodge podge of old and fraying, kinda dirty, hand-me-down collars and leashes). The collars seem comfortable to them and sturdy, most importantly, and I like the colors, which is ultimately less important, but still kind of nice. Now I have the matching leashes (each has their own color to match their personality, which I know is kind of silly, but who amongst us dog lovers doesn't understand the temptation to behave as such sometimes). Anyway, the leashes are equally as durable and attractive. They are not inexpensive, but worth the cost in my opinion because I think it will be a while until they have to be replaced.

I got this for my puppy, Blue. He's not a chewer, so I can't speak to how it would hold up if your pup decided to take a nibble. For our purposes, this leash has been great. I also have a ROAM collar on him, which has held up amazingly well and looks great on him. I particularly appreciate the ring on the handle so I can clip a poop bag dispenser. As a climber, I appreciate that the ROAM leash is basically just a rope. It makes it easy to tie him up and also get the knots out. The carabiner seems adequately durable, though I'd kind of like a locker or something that felt a little more secure. I haven't noticed any wear on the leash since I purchased it back in January.

UPDATE: Roam contacted me and actually notified me about a new leash they have that’s made of durable climbers rope and with a locking carabiner. It’s call the Explorer leash and it’s very rigid and heavy duty feeling. I took my dog out and was able to do some Leah corrections with it. I was able to have a good walk with him. Defiantly recommend this leash especially for pullers. The pillow walk stretches and actually encourages pulling because it gives the dog more reach. I do wish Roam would state that the leash stretches on the Pillow Walk and by how much it stretches because that was something I definitely wasn’t expecting when I got the original Pillow walk leash. To me the More rigid explorer series is better and worth the extra cash, it’s not by much. The pillow walk is a softer leash and if your dog is already leash trained the pillow walk would be better then. Original: 1star review of Pillow Walk leash. The leash feels pretty good in quality, it has a nice weight and girth to the rope. The carabiner is not locking which sucks but it does feel strong. What really made this a terrible product for me is that one of my dogs is somewhat untrained and aggressive with other dogs. While we were on our walk I turned the corner and ran into a dog, my dog immediately charged over and with the extra 2 ft or so the leash gave him when it stretched allowed him to reach the other dog. Fortunately he didn’t bite the other dog because I was able to pull him back fast enough. I wouldn’t recommend this leash for a dog that pulls as you can’t give the dog leash corrections because it stretches and softens the correction when you give one. This is definitely a nice looking, and feeling leash but more for a dog who knows how to be on a leash already.

This leash has withstood our teething puppy(3months)! Very impressed because he chews really hard and he's teething so he gives it everything he has with each bite! The plastic ends have held up to his chewing and he's only dented it so far. The leash itself, the rope, he's taken a little off but the leash remains strong! The clasp, the spring link, of the leash I thought would've been a bit too big for our puppy but it's light weight and so nice to have!. The spring link helps alot so there's no fumbling like a regular toggle clasp trying to get it to the collar. The rope leash itself is light and comfortable to hold. There's a little metal ring at the end of the leash loop that a poop bag holder can clip onto. I was also worried about the leash being too short since we got the 4ft one and it actually works out very well it's not too long! Very nice leash great buy, we love it!

I got the leash and collar in the color Florida Seaside, and I absolutely love these products! The color is even better in person and the quality is amazing for the price! They feel super durable and look great. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with a dog! The leash is also very comfortable to hold and take your dog on a walk with! If you’re thinking about getting a collar or a leash from ROAM, do it!
