This works great and doesn’t break your vent. The clip is so easy to twist and tighten. I just ordered 2 more for my teens. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it wouldn’t tightly grip my phone case that had a small finger ring on the back so it wouldn’t hold a pop socket either. I had to order a flatter case. It’s so easy to tighten and loosen. Great quality

This product is amazingly stable and secure, and even fits into the slightly diagonal vent of my Prius prime. It was so easy to install and adjust to the perfect angle so I can drive safely. My phone fits well in the clamp arms, and I love love the release button. It’s a great value for the money.

I love this phone holder! By placing it on your air vents, I can easily see the video for directions, as compared to other phone holders that sit in your cup holder.

I've tested and reviewed several YRU phone holders lately, and this newest one is the best for sure! The hook type mounting system is the best I've seen on a phone holder and it's very simple to fix in place, and holds the phone mount very well. The "arm" release button on the back is better than the previous version that had 2 side buttons to release the arms - which I was always pressing on when turning the phone sideways for sat-nav, which was annoying! It's good quality, well made, and works to hold the phone securely. Not the cheapest mount/holder I've seen, but it does the job better than most for sure!

Ich benötigte eine neue, nachdem die aktuelle abgebrochen ist. Die meisten Halterungen greifen das Handy durch das Eigengewicht des Handys -> Das Handy wird eingesetzt und drückt eine Feder nach unten, sodass die Greifarme zuziehen. Die Technik funktioniert aber mehr auch nicht. Hier hat man eine andere Technik. Die Halter-Arme werden durch Drücken Knopfs gelöst. Dadurch öffnen sie sich automatisch ganz langsam. Das Handy kann nun hereingestellt und die Arme durch zudrücken geschlossen werden. Dabei merkt man, dass hier ein Mechanismus wirkt - ähnliche wie die Bauchhalterung in einer Achterbahn - sie rastet regelrecht ein. Beim Zudrücken hört man, wie kleine Zähne sich verkanten und das Handy so sehr stabil fixieren. Der Fuß, auf dem das Handy aufsitzt, ist also nicht von Relevanz für eine Fixierung. Das Öffnen geht ganz einfach durch Drücken des Knopfs - die Arme lösen sich und das Handy kann entnommen werden. Dazu Arme und Fuß mit einem Gummi gepolstert, sodass keine Schäden am Handy entstehen. Die hintere Befestigung ist auch unglaublich stabil. Das Kugellager ist gut beweglich, kann aber auch zugedreht werden. Eine Bewegung unmöglich - so bleibt das Handy immer gleich ausgerichtet. Die gesamte Halterung wird mittels eines Hakens aus Metall an einem Lüftungsschlitz fixiert. Dieser kann wiederum festgeschraubt und somit an der Lüftung stark fixiert werden. Hier verrutscht wirklich absolut gar nichts - nicht einmal auf einer gepflasterten Straße. Die Halterung ist zwar gänzlich (bis auf den Haken > Metall) aus Plastik, wirkt aber dennoch gut verarbeitet und jederzeit sehr stabil und keineswegs klapprig, wie man es sonst von solchen Halterungen gewohnt ist. Für mich ist die Halterung top, volle 5 Sterne und eine absolute Empfehlung!
