as a long time customer - I recommend this filter.

We bought this filter model to replace our Samsung French-Door Fridge's water filter which uses filters compatible with Samsung filter model DA29-00020B. In reality, as the photo of the box shows, there are a great many filter model numbers and makes that are all really the same.We went with aftermarket filters simply because a Samsung 2-pack is over $110. We bought this 2-pack for less than 1/3 that cost. Our previous aftermarket filters were made by Aqua Fresh and were very happy with them but no longer seem to be listed. This alternative looked the same and worked just as well as the Samsung and Aqua Fresh units. It installed very easily, fit perfectly, and didn't leak.After running the requisite 3+ gallons of water through the filter to flush out any renegade charcoal sediment, we tasted it. It tasted just the same as if it came straight form our well but without sediment or various tasteless impurities that most osmotic charcoal filters remove.If nothing changes - no leaks and such - we're sure to order again. All-in-all, a great buy. I've attached a photo of the the box, installed date stickers and a magnetic install date badge they include for the side of the fridge - a nice tiny extra.Regarding the many comments about leaky filters of this type, I suspect at least some of them may be do to a little confusion over how they need to be tightened when installed. Simply put, the installation of these filter types can be misleading. When inserting them into their receptacle, you turn clockwise quite a ways and they then "seem" to be fully seated and tight. HOWEVER, they have to be turned another 30-45 degrees after that first friction point to reach full lock position. On the Samsung French Door models, at least, a fully seated and locked filter will have the install handle perfectly vertical. I'm not saying that all leaky filters reports aren't due to faulty filters - but some of those reports may be due to the issue I just outlined.Enjoy.

We’ve been using these filters for several years. They fit perfectly in our Samsung fridge and are completely compatible with the much more expensive name brand. . We’ve never had a problem with leakage, and our water always tastes great. We will continue to purchase them.

So far so good. The PureLine product was a direct plug-in replacement for the Samsung OEM filter that came with my Samsung refrigerator model RF28HFEDTSR. I gave it 4 stars because time will tell how long it lasts and if it develops any leaks. It is form fit identical but the dispensing outlet is much larger. Can't really comment on how well/what it filters, but minimal concern because I have a whole house filter system on the supply side. Definitely a more economical option at a 70% discount to OEM product.

Samsung Filters can easily retail for $50+ at box retailers. Found these off-brand filters and have ordered these multiple times. I think my fridge alarm goes off roughly every 6 months so a two-pack is good for one year of service. Fridge is now 13 years old and I started buying this brand according to Amazon in 2017 (7 years/7 orders).Will continue to order these as long as my fridge keeps running. Save your money over the Samsung BS priced filters.

I was going to give this filter a poor review, when I initially pulled out the old filter and replaced with the Pureline, I had a water leak. Then I watch a Youtube video on replacing the filter and realized I hadn't turned off the supply and drained the water in the fridge to relieve the pressure prior to installing the filter. I'm guess this caused an air gap, or some other pressure difference that didn't allow the O-ring to seat correctly. After turning off the water, draining the water/pressure, removing the old filter, installing the new and turning the water back on, the filer sputtered for a few minutes, then worked great, with no leaks.

Filters work perfectly! My water is so crystal clear you can't even see it in the glass! My friends think I am crazy when I discuss the joys of drinking this water - its like liquid sunshine with a whisp of angel dust. I started bottling the water and using it in the shower - my hair resembles Fabio now, which is much better than the bald spot that I have had for the last 20 years. My coffee is so smooth, Juan Valdez cries a little each cup that I drink. These filters work as expected and I hope they positively influence your life as well as they have mine.
