Ordered for my Yin yoga classes
These are basic yoga blankets. They are not super soft or thick, but very similar to what I have used in yoga classes. They are perfectly fine for props for my Yin yoga class. They washed fairly well. I washed only 2 at a time. I only fluffed them in the dryer for a few minutes - mostly to get some of the link off of them - then air dried them the rest of the way. I noticed a few pulls in some of the threads, but everything is still intact. The colors are nice. I ordered random colors because it didn't matter to me what colors they were. I wish I had ordered 6 instead of 5 because I didn't get 5 different colors, I got 2 of one color, 2 of another color and 1 of another. Not a big deal, but I like symmetry. :DPleased with my purchase. I was looking for a good price because I needed to order several.

A little unfinished, but good
I ordered a random color and received a goldenrod/gray/black/white blanket. Not the color I would have chosen on my own, but it’s definitely grown on me. It pairs nicely with an older blue blanket from this same company that I inherited from a friend. You can see some difference between the two in tassel thread thickness and the side binding used, but nothing that bothers me. Also, the older one is softer after being washed a few times, but not by much.No weird smell, no shedding, weave is good and tight, same kinda rough but kinda soft texture I have come to know and expect from these blankets. Despite feeling somewhat thin, they do keep you warmer than you’d think. My only problem was that the tassel threads on either end were left untied, and some end threads were cut kind of short. I’ve never seen this before with one of these blankets. I think someone was having a hard day. Since I enjoy detail tasks, I didn’t mind going through and tying the threads together, myself. One last note - I have read some complaints about the random color thread spots that appear in these blankets. Honestly, I only notice them in certain colors, like gray, and they’re not very large or pronounced. I really like finding them, as they give the blanket more of a personality.

Held up great in washer and dryer
I was wary of washing my 4 blankets and throwing them in the dryer based on some reviews. But I put them in the shortest gentle wash cycle with no detergent, then dried them on medium-low heat. Was planning to line dry them but it was too rainy that week. They generated a LOT of lint but did not fall apart. In fact the weave seems slightly tightened quite evenly - no puckering or anything. They lay very flat when folded and feel as soft as expected for its weave and with good loft. My least favorite thing is the laughably sparse fringework, but that does not affect the utility of the blankets. I chose the slightly cheaper option of letting them select the color and was pleasantly surprised that at least they matched (black and red, gray and red). Affordable with more-than-just-acceptable quality.

This blanket is just allright
I have purchased a few of these types of blankets in the past and have used them during yoga class. I was hoping this one would be similar in quality and feel. Unfortunately this one falls short…. It is not as heavy as the traditional ones used in yoga. It is woven differently so it is thinner and doesn’t have the softness of those other blankets. This feels like a thin cheap knockoff actually. Also the colors I got were super dark. I may return it as it makes me feel ripped off more than it relaxes me like for yoga.Lastly, I don’t think this would keep you very warm in comparison to the other blankets I have bought in the past and used in yoga.

looks nice
We are using this rug to cover a cushion on our living room chair. The chair is still sturdy, but it was peeling from wear and tear. This is an attractive alternative to the other cushion covers I found on Amazon. Plus it was cheap, so I don't mind that it might not last forever. My dogs like this chair, so it's durable enough to protect the chair from further damage and washes easily. I appreciate that it's thinner than a better quality blanket, because I'm tucking it around a cushion and it allows for more ease than something thicker. I would not recommend this if you are looking for a heavy, durable blanket. I have a better quality Mexican blanket that I use for yoga.

Crazy color combo
Ok. So this first bit has nothing to do with the product but it's worth mentioning. My falsa blanket came with one day shipping, but UPS took four extra days to deliver it after it had arrived in my hometown for "weather or natural disaster" cited. It was upper 80s with clear skies this past week. Whatevs, it made me laugh. When it's finally delivered, I rip it open and could not help but fall into bits laughing because I must have gotten the most neon colors they had. Like, we're talking near reflective, bright safety orange and bright purple. Omg it'll be hilarious to use in class because nobody will be able to look away. It's a head turner. Now that I've had it for a couple days it's growing on me. The uniqueness of it is heartwarming. The quality is as you'd expect: a bit thin and scratchy but come on, for the price it's great. But I will choose my own color next time 😎
