🍞 The jar comes very well packed in multiple layers of bubble wrap and cardboard. The jar is fairly standard as far as Kilner jars go, and you really can’t go wrong with these. All you need to do is give it a wash before use, and that can largely be done in a dishwasher if you prefer. The rubber seal is detachable, and that part is hand-wash only. I have found that the jars also take stick-on food labels really well. 🍞 I got this and other Kilner jars because it's really the only way to keep certain foodstuffs fresh, such as flour and bread mixes. When I use a packet of bread mix, I use just short of a full packet, and it is a shame to waste the residue. I always buy two packs and put one plus the leftovers in a 1-litre jar. They work very well to preserve the flour and yeast and reduce the waste of throwing away 100g of mix. The jars are also proof against insects such as ants, and we always seem to get an invasion in the summer months. With these jars, at least anything inside will be safe. ✔️

I use a few of these for my loose leaf teas to keep them fresh and nicely organised. Having tried a well known Swedish brand I've come back to kilner branded ones as they're just such good quality. Holds about 150/200g depending on the tea I'm storing which is perfect and they stack if placed in an out of the way corner, which is probably not recommended tbh. If I ever need to replace the seals, they are easily sourced and for the price difference to inferior brands it's just a no brainer.

Excellent Kilner quality as always. I store all my food in these jars, so much better than other makes. Great seal, easy to take apart and wash, look good when stored too.

Perfect, thick, and sturdy glass jar perfect for anything small to medium size. Works perfectly for storage and preserving. The seal is great - leaking no smell or letting anything in. Nice and cheap.
