This is a woven floss and that can be very difficult to find in stores, but is better for getting plaque and debris between your teeth. It also is infused with Xylitol which makes it hard for bad bacteria to stick to your teeth, so that is a bonus. I don't know about the activated carbon in the floss idea, I guess it doesn't hurt anything and maybe it is evidence of them giving you the best floss they could dream of creating. My dentist seems to approve (yeah, I brought it in to show my dentist and hygienist). At least for me it is working well. No issues, and I'd be a little surprised if I did have an issue at a future appointment because I take pretty good care of my teeth. If you are not brushing, start. If you are not flossing start that, and any floss should be an improvement over not flossing. If you are doing those you might consider this floss, I like it a lot, and only use other floss when I'm in a pinch. You might also consider a fluoride rinse.

Wow, finally a fantastic floss that is the closest floss to Listerine Gental Gum Care since they stopped making it. This floss does not slide off my fingers like others do so it is easy to grip. As I glide it through my fairly close teeth, it feels like it scrubs my teeth clean, does not break and splinter, it's really strong! I'm so pleased to have found this. Other so called expanding floss I tried has way too much or the wrong kind of wax that defeats the expanding feature. The EZZI floss has just the right amount of wax that lets the fibers do their work of cleaning and glide into tight spaces. Thank you so much EZZI !

Below was my first review, I just re-ordered and received my second batch of this product and I’m really disappointed. Both spools of floss are uncoated and unravel instantly. It looks like they’re still trying to figure out how to manufacture this product so it will be hit or miss. Original review: Over the last 4 or 5 years I feel like I’ve tried every type of woven floss on the planet. This stuff is absolutely the best out of all of them. It’s nice and grippy so it doesn’t slide around in your hands, and the black color lets you see all the plaque you’re getting out, which also means you can easily see which places on your floss are still clean, so you waste less. The one thing I would improve is the fit of the plastic case over the spool of floss. They put so much in there, it sometimes doesn’t turn easily as you pull the floss out, however, it is easy to fix by just opening the case slightly.

I keep trying to find a suitable replacement for the now discontinued "Listerine gentle gum care" woven floss. "Dr. Tung's smart floss" is the closest I've found so far, this stuff is less similar to the 'gentle gum care' but better than 'smart floss' in a lot of ways. The floss itself is super soft, no gum pain or really any discomfort like I get with any normal floss. The expansion is noticably helpful with cleaning, much more so than with 'smart floss' where it's more of a gimmick. Added benefit to how thick and soft it is is it doesn't dig into my fingers. The only real drawback is how thick this floss is. While soft, it only compresses so far. Would not work well for someone with tight spacing between their teeth, darn near feels like I could chip a tooth stuffing this floss between em sometimes. Any thicker than it is now and it would be completely unusable for me If they used 50% or 75% the material to thin this down it would be the perfect floss, better than 'gentle gum care' even.

This floss will clean your teeth in a way I did not know was possible. My dentist always told me I was doing a good job, but when I came in last week for my cleaning, she and the hygienist asked how I had avoided almost any buildup in the previous six months. And the only changes were the Ezzi floss and brush. I had some Oral B IO toothbrush that did well with Glide floss, but after trying this, I will never go back. Not to sound gross, but the first time I used this stuff, it pulled things out that I had no idea could be there since I had used the Glide twice each day. It was mildly uncomfortable as it conditioned my gums, but now everything feels perfect, and I can't go back. It's also super easy to travel with, does not have flavor characteristics, and has reduced my plaque buildup overall. 10/10 would recommend this and the brush. Add ScrapeYourTongue scraper, and you will have the best routine of anyone out there.

Way too expensive! I keep having to open and fix the thread because it tangles and gets stuck. It's made of many thin strands which get stuck between my teeth. I prefer other brands. It's cool though and the package looks cool. Not really necessary for floss, but hey, they got me to buy it. It doesn't expand that great either. More texture than a wide floss but I really don't like how it frays and almost feels hairy, occasionally leaving behind little filaments that get stuck.

I am recommending this floss to my endodontist. It works so well with my implants and it doesn't shred. Even though it's fat and fluffy, it's abrasive and it glides through my tight contacted teeth. I feel like it's really removing the plaque. I'll have to have a dental checkup to confirm . I like it. I will buy more.

Very thick, does not glide well. Didn’t shred, however, despite how difficult it was to get through my teeth…. And I’m an experienced expanding floss user.

Excellent floss. Previously couldn’t floss with normal dental floss, this floss is wider and catches more of what’s left between your teeth. This is the second time I’ve purchased it.

They are too thick for me

Este hilo dental es el mejor que he probado nunca. Es más grueso y recoge mucho mejor y con menos pasadas la suciedad del diente. Las personas con los dientes muy apretados este hilo puede no ser adecuado ya que se romperá el hilo y no será tan cómodo como otro más fino. Otro punto que me gusta es que huele a menta y es muy agradable.
