I’ll admit the first time I used this cute little van opener I couldn’t get it to work. I put it in the drawer and pulled out my usual one. A few days later I tried again and put more pressure behind my twisting and it worked! It cut smoothly through the can and didn’t leave any irregular cuts like my first attempt. Definitely recommend purchasing for a cute gift or just because you like quirky kitchen gadgets.

This can opener was a gift for my mom. It’s a perfect addition to her ototo collection. It’s easy to use and looks great. This is the 6th Ototo product I’ve purchased. I love this brand. Great quality products with a creative and fun look.

I was a little skeptical because so many novelty gadgets are cheaply made or don't work very well but I needed a small can opener for road trips and couldn't resist how cute this was .It works like a champ and is much more solidly built than I expected. I will probably order a couple more as stocking stuffers.

I purchased this can opener because it was small, cute, and different. That's about all it is! I've struggled using it since day one. It gets jammed, and not easy to loosen when I finally manage to open a can. I finally gave up and ended up going to the local store to purchase a standard looking one, again. I had my hopes up with this product but it failed miserably.

When I saw the OTOTO Can Do Manual Can Opener, I knew I had to give it a try.First off, let me just say that this thing is hilarious. The design is so quirky and fun - it almost looks like a toy. I could definitely see myself bringing this to our office Christmas party and getting some laughs.But when it comes to practical use, the Can Do Manual Can Opener falls a bit short. It's not the easiest thing to grip and turn, especially if you have any hand strength issues. And while it does get the job done eventually, it takes longer than some other can openers out there.Overall, I'd say this is a decent option if you're looking for a unique gift or conversation starter in your kitchen. But if you're preparing for the zombie apocalypse, you might want to invest in something sturdier.

You just put it on the can in the open position then start to turn the handles clockwise….it will close and start to cut. Just turn the handle , don’t try to guide it just let it go around as you twist. At the end turn the handle counter clockwise and it will release. Much easier than my last 3 can openers after I stopped trying to guide it.

I was looking for a manual can opener when I spotted this. I just had to have it. It looks like one of those vintage wind up toys, but it actually WORKS! It was fun "driving" it around the top of my soup can and I only had to go around once. If you want to go for a cute little "spin" around a can, I recommend getting this little fun car can opener. It 'turns' a boring task into a speedy joyride!

Pros: This is truly adorable. The end.Cons: first one stopped cutting the can and turning. I called the manufacturer and they quickly sent a replacement. It stopped working after about 2 months of normal use. My previous can opener worked for. For 10 years. The screw holding the turning mechanism loosened on both. Not sure if this was the cause, but the handle loosened and worsened the situation.Conclusion: Do not buy!

Looks cute, but I can’t get it to open anything!
