Class memory; software does not include backup
SK Hynix are a known for their fast, quality memory, quite often they are the chips in other labelled memory. My T-Group Create DDR5 7200MHz has SK Hynix chips, so the SK Hynix Platinum P41 PCIe Gen4 was an easy choice for storage and, also in keeping with the overclocked i7-14700K CPU in a ROG STRIX Z790-H motherboard. It's runs smoothly but hotter than the WD SN850X boot drive, despite the large integral heat sinks in the Z790-H and, being single-sided memory. That said, the temperature is still below 40 deg. C in an air-cooled set-up. My recent Amazon reviews include the system I've described here: ROG STRIX Z790-H motherboard, i7-14700K CPU, T-Group DDR5 7200 memory, and WD SN850 Gen 4 memory. The software download is not mentioned in the SK Hynix installation sheet; you have to find it via an internet search. There's a drive manager app and, a separate Macrium cloning app. Unlike Western Digital, there isn't a backup imaging app; I toyed with deducting a star for that but didn't.In summary: class chips, but you'll need an imaging app for backups. The Amazon Black Friday price was too good to ignore.

Great speeds
Used as my second nvme ssd to purely store my games on. Great writing speeds that can match my internet download speeds.

Used as permanent external storage for the Mac Mini
I have this in an OWC external enclosure permanently attached to my Mac Mini Pro M4 - it never gets turned off and has been both fast and reliable.

Fastest NVME drive I have ever used
No words for this other than if you create content, music, video or otherwise... Play large MMO games or do a lot of heavy data transfer.... This is what you need if you can afford it... Don't listen to the reviews saying this drive gets hot, maximum I've seen it in my system after heavy use is 55c and its rated upto a lot higher around the 80's or 90's before throttling... I love this drive and will most likely buy a second one down the line to RAID

Great for Gamer
No issues works right out the box. Load times are virtually non existent and downloading if you have fast enough internet doesn't cause bottlenecks when downloading

Super fast
Easy to install and well worth the money. Never knew having a decent SSD can increase download speed of games. Before I usually got around 10mb per second. Now I download games at 500mb per second. Peeked at around 600mb. Only down side is it isn't exactly 2tb, mine was around 1tb 800gb. Still a lot of memory so not the end of the world.
