COMFORTABLE - yes I admit it.
LOVE IT. So Comfortable...The lid has a rubber seal, no leaks when drinking. The lid is the perfect shape for my lips. Strange to say that but it does... and the stainless is not brushed at the top which adds to the comfort. Someone thought of that. The lid does slide counter clockwise to close the holes and this keeps the liquid from splashing, however it does not keep the liquid below the lid. The liquid pools on the lid but does not pour out unless the cup is tilted. The liquid does go back into the cup if it stops shaking. So this is spill proof as long as it is not tilted. Guess they thought of that too.I have big hands, handle fits perfectly in the first three fingers. Leaving the pinky to support below or outside the handle for leverage. Like that the handle is open in the bottom which makes it easier to load your hands with this cup. Again my hands are not gigantic but over average and I'm easily able to grab the cup without the handle to drink with my opposite hand. Another plus. Again, they thought of comfort.I tried a plastic 20 oz cup before this one which leaked, but I am happy with the 16 oz. It's the perfect amount - stays hot for my coffee.

It's OK, Not Spectacular
It's OK. I knew it wasn't as big as the mug I'd been using, but I really miss those extra ounces. I got this because it comes with a lid, and I hoped it would help with my hand tremors. Unfortunately, if I don't hold it exactly right, the lid leaks beside my mouth. Not great when you don't want iced tea all over your blouse. I haven't tried it with a hot beverage, and I probably never will.

Looks good and keeps my coffee very warm for a long time.
I make coffee every morning. Coffee is too hot. I let the coffee cool in my cup, often forget about it and then it is too cool. sigh. I bought this cup to help me with the cooling off stage of my coffee. The coffee stays hotter longer but is in the sweet spot of cooling off LONGER. I now can drink very warm coffee when I feel it has cooled enough and it has NOT gotten cold before I get back to it, yet. It has a nice wide, flat bottom so I can't knock it over easily as I work around my cooling coffee cup. The lid off helps the drink to cool faster, the lid on keeps my drink at the temp I like longer. This cup holds a nice amount of coffee/tea and it is light weight. The handle seems a little flimsy but as I hand wash and am careful it should not be a problem. Shipping was fast and the price was good. There is a dent in the bottom that was there when I opened the box but it does not inhibit the use. I can only see the dent when the cup is upside down, I'm not going to worry about it.

Excellent quality
My favorite mug, love it!Edit. Its been a year. I washed the mug and now it has water inside. Can't find a way to get the water out, it dribbles out slightly from the top if you shake it. Not real happy about that.

Keeps my cocoa hot!
I got this mug because I have a habit of knocking things over. My last mug was too narrow at the bottom, and I knocked it over once too often, so I was looking for a wide bottom mug for my morning coffee and evening cocoa. The light weight concerns me a bit, as it seems it might be easy to tip over, once it is mostly empty (which is when I usually knock my mug over). But, so far so good. And it actually does a better job of keeping my drink hot than my last, narrow bottom double-wall stainless mug.Great value for the money. As far as durability, only time will tell.

Nice sturdy mug for the clumsy people like me who spill their coffee
I was constantly spilling my coffee so I got this for the lid and the no-tip shape. It holds a large cup of coffee and the wide base is sturdy. I took away 1 star because the lid is a little awkward and the mug isn't insulated or double wall so it doesn't keep your coffee warm.

It's not as sturdy as I had hoped
It's pretty much as advertised, but it's very light, and the handle doesn't seem all the sturdy. The lid works pretty well, but as with all lids that "twist closed" it can be hard to clean. The handle isn't that comfortable either. I was expecting something a bit more brawny, I guess.

They are the correct shape for boating (LOW CENTER OF GRAVITY) with a good sealing lid (you get several seconds to catch it ...
I bought a pair, and so did some other Sailors. They are the correct shape for boating (LOW CENTER OF GRAVITY) with a good sealing lid (you get several seconds to catch it before coffee leaks onto the deck, fair enough! HOWEVER (3 stars) the GOOD DESIGN suffers from POOR MATERIALS: the sealing screw in the base rusted out and lost vacuum in a few weeks! For the "cost" of a stainless screw to match the vacuum sealed components(pls add a good sealant too), this FAILS for anything past First Use. Yes, we still use them without the vacuum seal with the thermal performance of a "regular" mug(size & shape is GREAT). Yet just a simple change in the BOM(Bill of Materials) and these would be THE BOATERS CHOICE"....Arrrrg!!! So Close, yet so faaaarrrrrr......

Is great
Coffee mug works great - arrived with sticky stuff on one side of exterior or would have gotten 5 stars.

Do not buy
Very light weight. Asynetrically assembled therefore does not sit straight. Feels like company paid $1 and should sell for $3.50
