It's fine silver glitter with a clear base
I bought it to repair artwork I added to an already printed t-shirt. I had used acrylic craft paint that said on the back label it can also be used on fabric but did not say anything about it being washable. I learned that it had to clearly say "fabric paint" on the front label. I have used Tulip brand in the past to create my own t-shirt designs & it holds up very well in the wash.

Glitter that stays put
I like to decorate my t-shirts and this is one good tool in my tool box. On clothing, I've tried different things and using spray glue (for fabric) and shaker glitter or the spray glitter (Tulip) always mostly washes off.

Give it plenty of drying time.
If using the silver colors, unless you are simply adding some sparkle, I recommend using this on a very dark fabric. I put it on a Carolina blue shirt (made a unicorn) and it is hard to see. I put it on fairly thick and gave it about 18 hours to dry.
