Q: Does this freeze well after it is made. I'm only person in household and it is too much for one? thanks

Yes, I add apples and pork sausage to the stuffing and freeze any left overs after cooking which freezes very well.

If your using chicken broth in place of water it’s 5 cups broth 1 cup butter for 4 boxes of box stuffing

Q: Bought 3.6 lbs. (chix) bag thinking it was 6 unboxed bags (serves 48). Needs measurements for 'separate' herb mix and breadcrumbs for 1-2 servings.

My standard single serving is 2/3 cup Stovetop mix. 2/3 Tbsp margarine, and about halfway between 1/3 and1/2 cup water. A handy trick that I use for a really good "baked-in-the-bird" flavor is that I fill the measuring cup to about half of the desired water amount with he juice from the cooked chicken before filling the rest with water. It makes for a really tasty stuffing.
