There is no insulation on any side of this oven.

Can you put another pizza stone when making 2 pizzas instead of the rack?

Pizzello Grande pizza oven is capable of cooking 2 pizzas at the same time, or 2 roasting tins together. The middle rack can be removed so you get a full space to accommodate a whole chicken. For better falor and long term use, we are not recommend to put 2 pizza stones into this oven.
