This thing comes pre sharp, VERY sharp. I actually cut my fingers wide open thinking it wasnt sharp. Most bladed weapons you order online are just displays or replicas and are completely dull. This one IS NOT a display, So be careful handling this short blade otherwise it might be a trip to the ER. ps i got lucky.

The design lends itself to be VERY balanced. Good edge out of the box. Handles are a little narrow for those with bigger hands but is to be expected at this price point and design, and easily resolved by some extra wrap or some other work to the handles. can be one or 2 handed with ease!

Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the quality of this blade. Very pricey for what it was. I'm going to keep it to use as a tool but I really feel like there should be a more substantial handle.

What a cool and professional short sword. Two handed and made for use with much more than just display abilities. I love my expensive swords and I love having real deal tactical weapons to keep my collection more than hanging.
