Q: who tf plays esports at 4k?

It's not the issue of 4k, the question is if you can play the esport game in question at your desired frame rate. High frame rate over actual monitor refresh rate is still beneficial for esport. 4k is alot more clarity than 1080p and there is a point of no benefit after a certain refresh rate. That said, I have a 4k 240hz monitor and find this monitor lacking in comparison to that one. With a RTX4090 , I can hit over 240 fps in Overwatch full settings., you can turn down all the settings or keep max settings and drop it to 1440 and get 360+ fps. So esport in 4k isnt really that strange anymore. The pixels per inch of a 4k at 32 inch is very tight, so 1440p on it is better than on most 1440p monitors.
