We're on our 3rd year with this specific monster truck set. I have 2 we alternate. The insert is dishwasher safe and keeps food warm or cold as you need it. We haven't had any leaking issues. We hand-wash the outer case as the instructions state. Its easy with a bottle scrubber. They're easy to open. I bought them for VPK, we've used them in Kindergarten, and now we're rocking them in 1st grade. It holds the perfect amount of food. A whole sandwich cut in half stacked, 8 baby carrots, half an apple chopped, olives, snack'mm pickles, or 8 chicken nuggets, it's really the perfect size. My youngest has his own dino set for VPK this year. My purchases are 2 years apart, good quality, fun designs, user friendly, happy family!

Keeps lunch secured and no leaks so far. Very easy to clean. The inner tray is removable to ensure all the bits of food come out and it allows for thorough drying after washing. Be sure to check the size of your lunch box you have. While it may seem rather bulky it fit all my kids food and was sturdy when he dropped it on the floor. The rubber grip around the lunch box design is also great to avoid slipping off the table if it gets bumped. Overall we love it!

It’s leakproof! A little heavy to be honest but a good size for kids school lunch. ONLY the inner tray is top rack dishwasher safe. Per the instructions, it is recommended to hand wash the outer case to maintain the integrity of the silicone seal to prevent leaks. A good buy. Pricey so I hope it lasts. Cute design.

Durable. Easy to clean. Plenty of room. Also very cute. Last the whole school year with no issues. Love that there are so many patterns and you can match the lunchbox/backpack with other accessories. Worth the price.

Despite the manufacturer claiming that it is dishwasher safe, the lunch box has proven to be quite the opposite. After a few runs in the dishwasher, stubborn stains started appearing that are almost impossible to remove. The recommendation to hand wash doesn't align with the convenience I was hoping for, especially with a product marketed as dishwasher safe.On the positive side, the portion sizes are ideal for young kids, and the compartments are perfect for a variety of foods. The durability and drop-proof design are definite pluses, giving me confidence that it can withstand the rough handling by my little one.Overall, while the Bentgo Kids Lunch Box does a great job at keeping food contained without leaks, the cleaning hassle and misleading dishwasher safety claim are significant downsides. If you're okay with hand washing, it might still be a good choice.

I love that the different compartments don't leak into each other! The size of the compartments are perfect for my 1st grader, but I'm guessing we'll need to upgrade to a larger lunchbox that can fit a bit more food in a couple more years. Easy to clean and works well!

This is a great bento. My kid just started school and the one I was using that came with her Pottery Barn lunch bag was awful, leaking and mixing things all over the place. When I packed her first lunch I closed it, shook it all around, and opened it - nothing moved from its section at all.Also, I was hesitant to buy this because some people said it doesn’t fit in the regular Pottery Barn lunch bag - this is not true!! It fits perfectly - I thought I might have to jam it in and it would be hard to zip, but again that is not true. It is a somewhat snug fit but my daughter can easily put it in and out of the bag. I’m not sure if they’ve slightly lengthened the bags since those other reviews or what, but I’m so glad I didn’t let them deter me because this bento is a huge upgrade.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this lunch box for my 6 year old and it works great! It has rubber around the edges for gripping her desk and won't slip. The lid opens all the way so she won't break the clips like on other lunch boxes. And it's a very nice color and cute! Very good quality I would recommend this product and buy again.

It's a bit overpriced (but I guess is normal, since it comes from the US), but it really does its job. The internal tray can be easily washed in the dishwasher. We have been using it for several months now, and it's still in really good conditions.
