Basic but not luxurious
It's important to know before purchasing this throw that it is a basic, casual, simple blanket if that's what you are looking for. But if you are looking for a rich, luxurious, well-made product that is heavier in feel and higher in quality, this is not for you. The stitching looks cheap, the brown spots have a unrealistic reddish tint and overall, it's cheaper in quality, design and appearance. I would not want to curl up with this blanket and would not buy it again unless it was for a pet or a cheap project.

Highly recommend -- by a blanket-o-phile
This is the softest, snuggliest blanket I've ever felt. I'm a bit of a freak about my blankets - I don't know if I had a security blanket as a child but I have many as an adult - and I cannot recommend this one more highly. (I'm not saying that I drag this around town with me, but I do move it from room to room because it is so cozy and soft.)Visually it looks just like the picture. Beautiful. I have not yet washed mine so I can't say how it holds up to laundering, though I'm hopeful because the quality seems great so far.

Comfy Blanket
The blanket feels really great and everyone that comes over loves using it if they are cold. It does shed a tiny bit, but I was expecting that from a blanket of this nature. At the end of the day, the very little shedding this does is hardly noticeable.

Very soft!!!!
Bought this two years ago and have washed it probably 100 times.... it's still in great condition and my daughters favorite blanket! I would say it is even just as soft as when we first bought it!
