This latch was of a slightly larger diameter than the one that I removed from my internal door. It would not fit in and I now have to buy a large carpenters drill bit to enlarge the bore hole in my door.

A useful replacement for a latch on which the operating boss had broken and was making it difficult to open and close the door. It was a fairly easy to fit, the cutout on the edge of the door had to be opened up slightly to fit the faceplate of the new latch, but the screw holes were all in the right place. Now fitted the door opens and closes with ease.
