A Must Book to Have On a Bookshelf
This is a very big book with just over 500 pages in length. The author has incorporated all of the elements that make for a great book, his second book. Overall, the writing style incorporates facts fused with a touch of humor and sarcasm, which very few authors are able to pull off successfully. Where relevant, the author also inserts a personal commentary on a topic that is being written, in a specially designed insert on a page, that is a backdrop to his entrepreneurial experience(s). From a subject matter perspective, the book ventures forward in encyclopedic fashion, chapter by chapter, with detailed sub titles, covering past and present economic history, hallmarked by the names of very famous economists - Richard Cantillon, Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Keynes, and Milton Friedman. The book is a roadmap with sign posts highlighting historical events, organizing them into an ensemble of where we are in today's world, and where we are heading into the next phase of our economic history. Will it be a smooth ride going forward? Or will it be a joyless, bumpy ride into a dystopian future that only George Orwell wished he could have incorporated in his classic book, "Nineteen Eighty-Four." This book belongs on the bookshelf of those who wish to ponder about why "things are the way they are, and where we are going." My viewpoint is in agreement with that of the author in that we are headed towards a dystopian future. Only the curious need to read to find out the details.

Excellent and SCARY addition to traditional economics text books.
I liked the way this book addresses recent events such as the 2008 downturn to the covid19 disaster. Very well written and has enough wit and humor to keep the "dismal science" interesting! Bravo. I recently became an avid saver(you're never too old to make better life choices!) so when the author laments that 69% of Americans have less than a grand in savings it occurred to me just how much of a zombie apocalypses is awaiting this country if the business as usual Government monetary behavior continues. if the deep state and political class hates Trump for minor offenses in my opinion, I can only imagine what they would do to a candidate who wisely wants to abolish the FED! I hope to see this author on youtube podcasts in the near future. he is worth paying attention to.

Lots of good info interwoven with author preaching gloom and doom from his soapbox
Here is a short summary of the book. Gold standard good, bitcoin good. Deficit spending bad, big government bad, fiat money bad. Modern Economic Theory is herectic. Cabalaucracy will merge the best of capitalism with communism for the benefit of the aristocracy. Commoners will be kept docile with universal basic income and propaganda from government controlled big media. On the positive side, a lot of sound economic theory is presented in a very understandable way. You don't have to believe all 100 % of the soapbox comments to learn a lot from this book. This book met my goal of learning more about macro economics. Thus I recommend this book.

What was, what is, and what will be!
Great read of information pertaining to the mess we are in and why. The sad part is most of us have helped make this happen. A side-note, there was no talk of facism, which is similar to communism, state control, but allows a level of ownership. I had read an article back in the 80’s that predicted the future would be facism.

Print was too light and parts were even missing completely.
This review has nothing to do with the thoughts or content of the book, which I’ve only heard good things about. It gets a low rating simply because the text was too light on the page, and some parts were completely missing. I was excited to read the book which I’ve heard is very good, but with parts missing in the printing process, I guess I’ll have to wait.

An ultra-conservative rant
The guy has a fair amount of good economic information but his 2022 perspective positions him for narrow rants and biased ultra conservative conclusions (50-75% of the book)

Gracias.
