Kidirace 2400 Rc Bumper Cars

I will admit that I bought these for my son, but I sure as hell enjoy them. However, my biggest complaint is that the cars stop responding to the commands from the remotes from time to time. It seems to happen with the orange one the most, but the others flake out periodically, as well. It really doesn't bother my son a whole lot, and it can be rectified by turning the remotes off and then back on, but from the perspective of dropping almost $100 on these things, I expected more.One of them stopped playing the sound effects within a day or two of playing with them, as well. Another one got jammed up somehow, too, to the point of not allowing the driver to be mounted again. I had to take the thing apart to fix the jam and haven't had any issues with it since. Minor things, sure, but I think my $100 could have been better spent elsewhere.I will say, though, that the seller reached out to see how I was enjoying them, and once I mentioned these things, he/she offered me a 25% refund for the troubles. That certainly helped, but again, I think my money could have been better spent elsewhere.

Very fun family activity. The cars are pretty fast and responsive. Each car has a rechargeable battery and charger. They run well on hard flooring as well and loop pile carpet. The run time is also very good ( 20-40 min). The durability is questionable however. Had 1 car that seemed like a wire got loose and it ran very slowly. The replacement car sent was defective in that the driver would not stay attached to the car. A second replacement car is in route. Another car seems like the gearing is slipping and will vary between normal and very slow speed. A replacement for that car is also in route. I will say that the customer service has been EXCELLENT and a true surprise in this day and age! The cars are still under the 90 day warranty so not sure what will happen if there is a problem after that. Customer service seems to have true commitment in trying to make any issue right. Replacement shipping was also very fast! Hopefully there will be no other issues but may want to purchase an Asurion Protection Plan just in case.

I bought these for my sister's big 21st birthday party. THEY WERE A HUGE HIT!! Seriously, everyone loved them. We had bumper car tournament, and even found a way to turn them into a drinking game. It was so much fun. We'll be sure to use these at future parties as well. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they have SO MANY SCREWS. There were screws galore to remove them from the box, then additional screws to put the batteries in. Every time you want to charge the batteries you have to unscrew it again. Kind of a hassle, luckily the batteries last pretty long though.

So far very fun. Battery lasts a reasonable amount of time for one play session. I was displeased with the sheer number of screws I had to deal with Christmas morning to unpackage it- each individual piece was screwed twice into the box itself! Then there were screws for all the battery compartments, which was fine. Still, it took me ages to get the kids up and cruising around. If this is a gift, unpackage and unscrew it first before wrapping, save yourself some pain on your otherwise joyful day.

These bumper cars are a blast. Long run time, and great crash sound effects when the rider is ejected. These are not precision RC vehicles, but a lot of fun to drive around and bash into each other. We had to return the initial set as one of the riders wouldn't stay on the seat properly, but returning was simple.

I bought this for children who love amusement park bumper cars and remote control toys. The nine-year-old boy says,"They are really cool because you get to control them! They are awesome! The man flies out and makes a noise! And the coolest thing is you can battle with your friends!" His seven-year- old sister adds, "I like them because I get to play with Mom and Dad! The fan spins inside and that is really neat. I LOVE how the bumper cars are controlled with the remote. So glad I got it as a birthday gift!"

I want to give this five stars. I really do. My family has had hours of fun with these. However, two issues make it go down to a 2 star: 1) we have had to take one of them apart a couple times to fix the latch that holds one of the figures. That would have given it a 4 star. 2) HUGE DANGER! While we were charging the batteries, we began to smell plastic burning. We unplugged them and realized that one of the USB connections had a HOLE MELTING THROUGH IT! It could have burned down our whole house! This would have given it a NO star.

*UPDATE*Changed to one star because they've barely been played with. Battery doesn't last long and they're complicated to charge. You have to unscrew the cover, unclip the battery & "plug" it into the tiny, frustrating, charger - the other end of which plugs into the wall. One charger broke where it plugs into the wall the first time we used it leaving us with ONE charger for four cars. Between disassembling to charge & putting the drivers back in the car after they pop out (fun at first but pretty soon that's all you do) they aren't very practical. Both chores are tedious and very UNFUN according to my grandson. I was really excited about these cars after reading the reviews but I really wish I hadn't wasted the money.These sounded so fun. Got the set of four for my 5yo grandson so we could play together. The controller is a bit tricky & frustrating for him to maneuver but his Dad & grandpa LOVED them.

used once and one driver is not sticking on its holding slot. drivers are a pain to reset in the bumper car this was brought to the attention of seller and the issue was resolved to my satisfaction

Never worked. Thought the rechargeable batteries would be a good idea. However would charge and would not work. Put all new batteries in hand held remote and still didn’t work. Don’t waste your money.
