My 16 year old daughter has fallen in love with my Canon, because of the high quality images and selfie screen. She takes it to school dances and such with friends. She's careful with it, but I still worry because it's so easy to damage something like this, so I bought this cover. It's well made, and provides substantial impact protection. But the fit is too tight around the zoom control. It prevents it from returning under its own spring power. You have to manually re-center the control. That gets really annoying. Otherwise highly recommended!

good to protect my new g7x. i think it can survive a small drop (ie from arm level to table) but probably not a big drop (from arm level to floor)

Pretty disappointed in how this case fit my new camera. I get it’s a cheaper case, but you’d think they’d get the mold to fit better. I don’t see it protecting the camera very much either, more for aesthetics than anything.
