Really fun couple activity surprisingly hard to make so take your time

This is a great little candle making kit including some pottery style sculpting activity, perfect for beginners or anyone that likes to dabble in this type of handmade craft work. This set includes air dry clay, enough for making the candle containing base - an instruction and ideas leaflet is included. Also included are some acrylic based paints (I chose glitter), paintbrushes, shaping and sculpting tools plus some base coat and lacquer to put a nice finish to your item. Easy to use, the clay can take a couple of days to dry/cure depending on thickness but it does set solidly. Brilliant results although I don’t feel the value at £39.99 (at the time of review) is great, I felt this would be more appropriately priced around £20 as the main materials of air dry clay and paint are generally inexpensive although you do get to keep the tools to use again and this pack is really well presented. It is also only enough to make one item. Would make a lovely gift for a crafting enthusiast who has never tried hand pottery before.

Nice..ish set however the clay is solid and really difficult to mould. A little bit on the expensive side for what it is.

Ik heb dit pakket besteld op 17/12 om als kerstcadeau te geven. Nu 29/12 is het nog steeds niet toegekomen omdat het vast zit bij de douane. Er staat nergens aangegeven op Amazon dat dit pakket van buiten de EU moet komen en werd ook niet vermeld op de bevestigingsmail - waar vermeld stond dat het pakket tussen 23 en 28/12 geleverd zou worden. Ik heb nog 30 euro extra douanekosten moeten bijbetalen. Let dus zeker op als je vanuit België bestelt!

Although this was expensive, it was fun and enjoyable. My boyfriend and I did this as a date night with some dinner ordered it and it made a very romantic date night. I would recommend looking into the difference between the different boxes they have to offer before purchasing so you can ensure you're getting exactly what you're expecting. Would maybe get again.
