Outstanding Tea … Hot or Cold
I recently returned from a trip to Japan. I mention this because this is where I drank Matcha tea for the first time. The fact that it comes in green powder form is amazing enough but after drinking a few over there, I will never go back to regular tea again. Since returning home I have located a distributor that gets it direct from Kyoto (where the tea is grown) Japan. I add honey and maple syrup to the hot tea and it is truly outstanding. Once you try it you will make it your favorite ❤️ GUARANTEED !!

Great Matcha!
After seeing the price at the store, I went to Amazon. After reading reviews, I decided to give this brand a go. I love this stuff. I normally take a cup, put a little milk in, then add 4 tablespoons of the matcha, a pinch of coconut sugar, and some lavender drops. Then I froth it up. It tastes delicious! The amount you get for the price is really good too. I was expecting a much smaller bag.

You’re paying for a bag of grassy, green sugar. If you like overly sweetened S-bucks drinks, get it.
If you’re a ⭐️Bucks girl and you want the most westernized, inauthentic version of matcha possible, get this. (The product is in fact from Japan, but it’s clearly made to appeal to a certain audience) If you look at the ingredients (which I failed to do, as I didn’t conflate “sweetened” with sugar with a bag of matcha colored sugar), it has a higher sugar content than matcha powder itself, which is why they can sell so much for so cheap relatively. Don’t be fooled. This makes it impossible to achieve a microfoam with it unless you use an absurd amount compared to your water and use an electronic tool to aid you and not a traditional chasen. You will run through it quickly because of the sheer amount you have to use for it to not be watery. The color isn’t bad at all for the price, however the match flavor itself is very faint. It has a slight grassiness but no umami or richness, nothing can be tasted over the sheer amount of sugar. The flavor is pleasant if you aren’t expecting proper matcha. If you just want a *slightly* matcha-like aftertaste to your green milk after you make a “latte”, then go ahead.Otherwise, just pay the extra bit for a better quality from another brand and add your own sweetness to taste.

Solid pick
I enjoy this brand. I tried another but this one was a bit sweeter and I am a sweets girlie. Very smooth and I like the color. For anyone looking to find the ideal matcha, I would recommend this one for sure.

Wanted to give this a fair chance
I have tried sooooo many matcha powders and latte mixes from Amazon and I did find one ceremonial grade (organic) that was really really good but it was a B to blend! There was always a bit of grit no matter what I did. I came across this one and decided to order it in the small size. My hopes were not high given the mixed reviews. I make vanilla lavender matcha lattes. Yes I know how orginal of me lol but in my defense I was doing it long before they were"cool" 🤣 anyway my very first concoction was amazing but I had also used a new lavender extract so I didn't get over joyed just yet. I wanted to see if this latte mix would stand alone. So I enjoyed my drinks until....my extract ran out....and omg it was still amazing! I was floored! I couldn't believe it! I tried the beloved jade leaf and I was totally not a fan I kept adding ceremonial grade to it and it still wasn't great I felt like it was a rip off tbh. I noticed my tiny bag was almost out and of course this was on a Thursday so I had to make my order $25+ or wait till Monday for a new bag. I made it $25+ and just got the big one. Although the bag is good (if u remember to close it) but if u leave matcha open it states very easy its delicate. Stale matcha isn't very good either. So I put my in a mason jar with air tight lid. It works perfectly and looks beautiful in my herbal cabinet! I will absolutely without a doubt keep buying this (in the large bag) I feel it's a great a value for the money. The taste is amazing, although it says sweetened I have never tasted anything remotely sweet about it myself. I add my own monk fruit sweetener. It tastes like really good matcha powder to me 🙂 super fine , mixes and desolves in hot-ish water easy, no chemical taste or small , nice and earthy a bit grassy but not overwhelmingly so. It's a very mild beautiful blend of flavors. Give it a try it delicious! I'm a snob when it comes to matcha (teas in general I usually make my own blends) water, ice things of that nature and I truly enjoy this and honestly have told everyone I know hoe impressed I was with this mic. I say give it a go. Try the small one first to see if u like it!Ps I did regret not getting the big bag the 1st time lol u get a ton more for your money!Hope this helps

Yummy matcha
It’s a really great matcha powder I’d recommend this if you are a matcha lover and if you like it sweet then add more sugar but I think this one is already sweet.
