This is a premium product and excellent gift idea of great for coffee lovers or tea drinkers tooIt comes in a high quality cube package with a gift box type sleeve inside is the copper cup the charge tray a power supply unit and 3 adapters for UK EU and I think USA the power supply is brown to match the style of the mug and it all looks georeous the copper cup is 6 fluid oz or 178 ml and has upto 1 hour 30 min battery life but mostly mine lives on the dock on my desk anyway but it will keep a brew warm for around 1 hour 40 min which is triple if not more than normalThe machining and production is so precise and professional it really is a high quality productThe tray too It's a brown plastic and rubber base again to match aesthetics with a discrete 12v female socket and with a copper top again the finish is excellent with 2 gold pins for the mugon the bottom of the mug it has gold circles for connection so it doesn't matter how its placed down as long as its seated it keeping the drink warm or chargingat first I thought my drinks might taste different or weird but not at all its just like drinking out a porcelain mug only now you can feel really posh when doing so or at least I do lolThere is no handle but i think it looks better without and its more uniquethis mug is definitely that.it's pretty impressive from the seal on the box to the socket and dock you can appreciate the effort and thought that went into manufacturing and all the bases were covered when trying to provide a premium experience for the end userI almost for got to mention there are some cool stickers included so you can let everyone know your posh now and have one of these ember mugs highly recommended I love it

The Ember Temperature Control Smart Cup is a stylish piece of equipment and is presented in upmarket packaging reminiscent of the way in which apple products are presented.The cup itself is very good looking and feels comfortable to hold. It has a volume of 177ml – more equivalent to a cup rather than a mug. Its design means that the cup can be held safely even when its contents are at a high temperature.The charging saucer completes the stylish look and when the cup is placed on it when it is fully charged, it keeps your drink hot for around about an hour and a half at a temperature of 57°C. If the charger is plugged in then, it will keep your drink warm for as long as it remains plugged in.Download the Ember app to easily connect the device to your smart phone via Bluetooth and you can then control the temperature of your drink keeping it between 50°C – 62.5°C. I thought that keeping my drink hot for an extended length of time in the cup might affect its taste but, the drink tasted just fine. There is an LED light to indicate when the cup is heating the drink up to reach the selected temperature.There is also an ‘Auto Sleep’ facility on the cup which senses when to turn on and off. When the cup is empty or after 2 hours of inactivity, it enters sleep mode and ‘wakes up’ again when it senses movement or liquid is added to it.The cup washes up easily in warm soapy water and its durable material/coating means there is no need to scrub it.Overall, the Ember cup is a clever piece of equipment which works well, but it is quite expensive. It is a luxury item and if that’s what you’re looking for then I think it’s probably the best quality product of this type currently available.

This is a wildly ostentatious gift for a loved one but as someone who constantly forgets to drink coffee when at work, this was a great gift to myself.Lovely aesthetic burnt gold/copper colouring. Lightweight. Charges fine and quietly on the plate, which connects via AC adapter on a cable length around a metre, so should be fine for most desks/offices.Works exactly as expected, retaining temperature on your drinks. Some milky coffees can get a skin, so be careful what you're keeping warm!

As opposed to writing an essay about a very expensive small cup, it's probably better to say that this product is only really suitable for those who receive it for free via the Vine Programme, and those who have money to throw away. The idea behind the product is good, but at the end of the day this really is just a cup, and if you didn't know any better, you would easily mistake it for a cup that sits on top of a copper coloured thermos flask. It's packaged well, the quality of the cup itself seems to be good, but the rather cheap 'universal' power adaptor lets the product down, and the (frequently non-responsive) poorly coded App leaves a lot to be desired. As for the price? Well, if you want to spend a hundred pounds on a cup, you would expect something a little better than what you actually receive.

Avec ma tasse Ember je peux enfin déguster mon café chaud en 5 minutes ou en 1h.Pour ma part j’ai aucun problème avec l’appli (j’ai lu après les recherches que certains avaient des problèmes de connectivité).Mon café reste chaud en tout temps.J’utilise une cuillère en bois pour brasser mon café afin d’éviter de grafigner la tasse.Je la charge après chaque utilisation pour ne pas manquer de batterie.Mon meilleur achat/investissement depuis longtemps! Dispendieux mais au combien utile!

Deux choses :- Le produit est de qualité- L'application est une catastropheLa tasse est vraiment qualitative, le produit est bien étudié, on sent que c'est beau et pratique.Mais lorsqu'on vend un objet connecté à un prix pareil, il faut au minimum que l'application suive... Et là ça bloque.Plus en détails : création d'un compte obligatoire mais impossible, pairage aléatoire et inconsistant, autorisations bordéliques, interface datée, écrans qui changent/bloquent sans raison...En conclusion, c'est un produit à fuir, sauf si un joli mug bloqué à 57°C et non personnalisable, non connecté et non mis à jour, à un tarif élevé, vous convient.Un concurrent fait mieux à ce niveau et moins cher, c'est tout décidé pour moi !

It works exactly as intended with a couple of extra features that actually surprised me, including not only preset temperatures for certain drinks, but also the ability to add your own, as well as recipes given with the app. All in all it works very well

Far too small, I would have had the coffee done in two sips, which defeats the purpose. I will try a larger size
