Makita XPH11ZB 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Sub-Compact Brushless Cordless 1/2" Hammer Driver-Drill, Tool Only

A small drill with a punch! It has quite a bit of torque for such a small tool - I have a B&D of similar size, but its no comparison. When I received the tool I thought it had a defect as there is a 1/8" gap between the chuck and the housing/power selection ring. Look at the pictures it is obvious that this gap is "by design". Why? I don't know. It looks kind of "unfinished" but does not impact the performance of function of the drill. I am happy with my buy especially given the reasonable cost at $83.

I'm a farmer/rancher. This is a replacement for the exact same drill. We go through a few drills and they are totally mishandled and abused. I bought the first of these and found it to be very powerful and yet the battery lasted the longest of all the drills. I didn't wear it out. It was so good someone else decided they needed it more than me. So, I had to buy another one. Highly recommend this drill. It's light, it's versatile and durable. It's amazing you can get such a reliable, well designed product for the price.

Amazing build quality. Feel solid, light and powerful

This little drill does exactly what I need it to do, drive screws. I own bigger and heavier Makita cordless hammer drills and also corded hammer drills and I did not buy this for that feature. From a pro standpoint I would not expect much from the hammer drill capability and I'm not sure why they would bother to include that. Otherwise it's a light little screwgun that does have enough power and speed to get things done. So far.

I have a older corded makita hammer drill but it was always a pain to drag it out, get the extension cord and drill the holes I needed, especially if you only have to drill a few holes, I was skeptical this little guy could do as well as the big corded drill but it does a good job and I'm satisfied with my purchase,

Received the package in 5 days, would have been sooner but there was a major snow storm where I live and the seller was communicative and cool bout it. The product itself: i love this drill. I got it as a utility tool for easy drilling in tight spots, but I've come to use it as my main go to for most screw/ drill applications. Super light weight, feels great in the hand, plenty of power for its size, and makita always wins in battery life. 5 stars 👍

I looked through a lot of drills before I purchase this one. I wanted one that was lightweight and easy to use. But I still wanted one that had the power to do the things I needed it to do. This drill answered everything. I have yet to come across a home improvement project that it doesn’t stand up to. Having two batteries is really nice too. I liked it so well I’ve purchased it as a gift for my nieces fiancé.I’ve had mine for well over four years and it’s still going strong.

Use it a ton at work and it's awesome. A few coworkers have tried it and they all rave about how light it is and how powerful.

The tool himself can be great for small or medium work. But the problem with mine is that the shaft (nose) is unhinge (wave) when I screw with it. I’m not satisfied
