Minor fix makes bootie worth buying
The media could not be loaded. Great value, sturdy construction (seams, stitching, zipper). About average comfort as bottom is a bit thin.Size: I wear a 12 normally so I ordered an 11 bootie. Fits in length, a little snug across top of foot, very loose above ankle. With a wading bootie, you want it snug at the top to keep sand out and keep the bootie in place as you walk. Unfortunately this bootie only has a half-strap at the top so it doesn’t allow you to wrap the strap completely around your leg. Additionally, the zipper doesn’t lock so it can slide down as you wade.I may have solved both issues with a simple fix. Please watch the video and decide for yourself if this works for you.

Avoid the super expensive flats fly fishing shoes from high end brands and give these a try.
I needed a pair of flats shoes for fly fishing in the Keys, I was looking around at other brands with shoes in the $200+ range, and figured I would try these out first. They have performed great. The high ankle straps keep out any sand and provide some protection from coral / urchins / rays. They're rather comfortable, are ok for swimming in and have held up pretty well. For the price these are hard to beat, will they last 5+ years? Probably not. Do they have a lifetime warranty? No. But for $40, I've been very very happy with them.

Good product, sizing runs big
Have used these a few times now in the back bays of New Jersey, fishing for striped bass. They are comfortable and do a decent job of keeping the sand and grit out. Im a skinny guy so I can't tighten the strap enough to get a good seal against my leg. To keep the sand out I wear a long pair of thin wool socks, which I can fold down over the top of the boot. This works well and I would recommend wearing socks with these anyway to prevent blisters and chaffing. Also I normally wear a 10.5 shoes, I ordered the 10 and they fit perfect.

Sloppy Construction
I was disappointed when I took these wading shoes out of the box. The stitching was very poor - on one of the velcro tabs, the stitching completely missed one side of the tab. Good thing I have a sewing machine. In several other areas, the stitching was also very sloppy. I hope they hold up in the water well, as from the initial view, I am concerned about the overall quality of construction.

Good boots. I strictly wade Louisiana marsh and Mississippi Islands
They were exactly what was advertised. Sometimes you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get quality. Read one review about zippers getting hard to use after wading in sand. You wash your reels off after wading so wash your boots as well. Take care of your equipment and it will take care of you.

Zipper doesn’t like wet sand
I use these boots for wading on the California shoreline over rocks, sand and cobblestone when surf fishing and wear them over stocking foot waders. They have good durable soles and are comfortable. The only down side is the zipper seized up from sand getting in it and has to be rinsed out and cleaned with a toothbrush after every use to unjam the zipper.

They’re made well, but run big by about one shoe size.
Don’t let the negative reviews deter you. These are great wading/reef shoes. I use them to wet wade rivers in Ohio fishing for smallmouth bass, and occasionally might step into a clean natural pond. They do run big, so either buy a size smaller or wear some neoprene socks if you end up buying a size too big. These have stood up to HARD use. From river gravel to constantly kicking massive boulders while making my way upstream. I even run up and down deer trails in them on the way to some of my river spots. I’ve had them for about 8 months and they show no signs of failure.

Very nice shoes
These are great shoes, they keep your socks dry. They are not good for the cold weather unless you wear thick heavy socks. Overall awesome shoes! Look cool too
