How I Met My Monster (I Need My Monster)

Bought for my granddaughter & had to buy the whole series. Wish we knew what the little boy’s name is. But she is obsessed

It has been all my children's favori8te series we read them so much i have to replace them ever so often.

I absolutely love this series! Despite having read them to my toddler so many times I’ve now memorized them I still love them! Cute pictures, unique stories. Love!

Such a charming story about a child who is afraid of the dark. But do you know that even adults can be afraid of the dark? Might want to read this book together and both of you enjoy the fun that night time can bring.

We love "I Need My Monster." It is one of the 2-year-old's favorites. We could read it to him every night. He could almost read it to us. So naturally we needed to add "How I Met My Monster" to his library. He loves it. We find it less charming than "Need" with a bit too much Monsters Inc. in it. But if the target audience loves it, that makes it a great addition.

I bought the second book, I Need My Monster, first and both my grandsons absolutely loved it! I bought the board book for the three year old and this one for the 5 year old. All the monster books by this author are lovely, quirky, and funny.

This book is adorable. So adorable that I ended up finding and purchasing the whole (3 book) series and purchased the first book of the set for my nephew who happens to share the same name as the main monster!The color and illustrations are fabulous and vibrant and the story is unique. Very well recommended!

My daughter loves it. It is long and too advanced for her to read, but beautifully illustrated. I will probably get more in the series, just to have a change. I hesitate because I am not so keen on some of the gender stereotypes presented in the series (she gets enough of that) but on balance it is quite good. I may have to translate it myself into french.

I purchased "I need my monster" first. Not sure how my 5 year old would handle it as he is in a bit of a "scared of everything" phase and he LOVED it! The art in the book is colorfully vibrant and really well done.And unlike a lot of kids books lately the story is really well written and not just words on a page.We will eventually own the whole series for sure.
