Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder Loose - Translucent - Full Size

I previously had bought and used a Laura Mercier brand of loose, finishing powder, but found it very chalky. I happened to be in Nordstrom one day, so wandered into the cosmetics department as asked a (simply fabulous) sales person there to recommend a new powder. She recommend this product and I have been delighted with it. The coverage is just great (and I believe it's slightly less expensive than the Mercier version). I'm about to re-order it for the third time.P.S. If anyone from Nordstrom sees this, I regretfully did not get the name of the employee in the cosmetics department at your Durham store (Southpoint Mall) - but she was lovely, blonde and Irish, if that helps.

I’m 63 years old and my skin has gotten very dry. I have tried many setting powders over the years, but just wasn’t happy with any. I quit wearing it altogether because it just didn’t sit well on my dry skin. I was very surprised one day when I went to Sephora to try another foundation that might wear longer since I don’t wear setting powder. A young lady helped me out. She asked if I wore setting powder and I told her no that they always looked terrible on my dry skin. She asked if I would mind if she tried a little bit of setting powder on me. I agreed and I am so glad that I did. This powder is amazing and it definitely smoothed out the dry texture on my skin. I have shared this with a few other friends with dry skin and they’re happy as well.

Did Too Faced discontinue this powder?? I can't find it anywhere and that's why I had to buy it here on Amazon. I'm usually hesitant to buy beauty products on Amazon because I'm worried they will be a resell that's either been tampered with, repackaged or mixed with something lower quality. This product has had no issues like that and I'm pleasantly surprised! The formula, scent and application is exactly like the ones I have purchased at Ulta for years, and at half the price. I will be back here to buy my next one when I'm getting low, and hopefully Too Faced brand hasn't completely stopped making it.

Product was shipped swiftly, and in cute pink packaging, with a sweet note from the business owner. I speciation little things like that, and yes, it brightened my day! Thanks for this product, I've been trying to with my foundation/ concealer/ powder for a little less $$ because the one I was wearing was breaking me out! (NARS makeup line) I'm glad to have the born this way collection!

I love this stuff! Best powder I’ve ever used! Only thing I don’t like about it is that it so small for the price!! You only get a .5 (half a gram) for $17.00. Love the powder though!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I'm 53 and I KNOW I need to stay away from powders, but I feel like I need a little something to set my make up. I have all over DRY skin. THIS IS IT. I does not settle into lines on my face. It does not make the hairs on my face show u lp. It does not look cakey. It DOES set all my make up. It DOES give an all over smooth finish. I purchased the small size and WILL purchase a LARGE size.

I have a very oily face so I have to either reapply my makeup or blot my face at least 3 times a day which is rather frustrating so I was hoping this would help but unfortunately it only worked for a few hours before the shine peaked out of my pores again. It works to mattify after applying my liquid foundation but it just doesn’t prevent the shine nor does it make it non transferrable so maybe this will work for someone who has normal or combination skin but definitely not for oily skin. Also it is translucent and doesn’t make your face white like some of these do, this is something I look for when I am looking to buy a product so I feel like it is worth mentioning. 3 stars since it has some pros and some cons.
