Priced right. Work well.
I like these bc they mold to the form of what you’re sanding. The hold the paper well and wear well. The don’t do as good of a job with dust system as normal Velcro plate.

Great pads
I like how they hug, rounded corners of furniture that I refinish.

Didn't work the way I wanted it to.
I thought I would give this a try for some sanding work. I was hoping that I could sand some edges, and detail without sanding down the edge. (To be honest, I was hoping it would work sort of like a SurfPrep Sander) but no such luck. It is a little softer when working on edges, but isn't soft enough, so you still have to be very careful. It works great as a pad saver though. You just add one of these and it protects your orbital sander velcro pad. You just pull the sanding paper off this thing and when it wears out, you use another one, without fear or wrecking the velcro pad on your sander. Saves on repairs.

The holes in the pad do not line up perfectly with the sandpaper
I purchased these pads in order to have a means to sand a contoured hand railing and vertical spindles. In order to have more flexibility, I put two pads together so that I would have approximately 1" of foam to contour around the wood. All of that worked well, and I also wanted to use a vacuum to minimize dust, which would mean that the dust would be drawn up through the holes. The holes did not line up perfectly with Diablo factory 8 hole 5" diameter sandpaper, but overall it still worked.
