This is a great set of knife and my wife loves them. She said they are super sharp and durable. When I received my order, one of the knives had a very small nick on the blade portion. I assumed this occurred during shipping but rather than send them back I notified the manufacturer to see how they handled warranty service. I was shocked to receive a return email the very next day. They addressed my issue immediately and to my complete satisfaction. This is an outstanding set of knives backed by amazing customer service. Five stars!

Just got my new knife set and wow, these things feel amazing in my hand. The weight is perfect, not too heavy or light, just right. And the sharpness out of the box? Forget about it, I sliced a tomato paper-thin without even realizing it. Seriously impressed with the quality for the price. Definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a solid upgrade in the kitchen.

These have been a great replacement set of knives, especially for the cost.These have held a sharpening very well and they have also held up to both hand washing and the dishwasher with no adverse effects.They have a good feel in your hand and do not have any pinch points like some knives. You really get a lot for your money with this set and after using them for a few months now I would say they hold up better than the usual name in knives that most people would buy.

I bought these knives after searching independent reviews. I saw the negative reviews on the block and assumed the risk. My review is focused on ergonomics and workflow, not steel or sharpness, both of which are solid. I added this set to my old set of Cooks and a few high end Henkles and Japanese cleavers. I chose these specifically for the blade reviews and the ergonomics on the big knives that suits a French grip. Think violin bow. I like the big knives in my hand and the deep bow on the french chef's knife is nice on a good board. The same handle is not great for the steak knives. The block is worse than bad. It's a complete disaster. The knives are difficult to grab and draw and in stock configuration, it's nearly impossible not to contact the edge with another metal handle. The block also does not allow proper blade-up storage and drawing or placing the knife will grind the edge against the wood unless you're very careful. The angled hilt doesn't really work in a regular straight faced block. The hefty handles are great for the bigger knives but feel bulky and awkward on the smaller knives. Sharpness out of the box was good but a little inconsistent.

We’ve had this knife set for over a year now and they are just as good as when we got them.I fancy myself as an uh hum amateur chef,lol and I would recommend this knife set because of they have stood up to time and use without any issues.

The knife set arrived inside a sturdy package. They look and feel like a high quality set. The butcher block has a built in sharpener that will probably never be used as these are extremely sharp knives. The blade thickness is reassuring to see and feel. Be careful when using and washing to prevent cutting yourself. Excellent value for the money.
