Excellent product for peace of mind
This is our second dream sock and we have loved them both. It gives such peace of mind to us knowing we will be alerted if our babies vitals drop into a dangerous zone which makes this completely worth the money. It’s very accurate and we have had no false alarms and the sensors have worked perfectly even when baby moves. I love that it helps to track sleeping patterns as well. The sock fits great from a newborn to a growing baby. This is easy to use and the app is user friendly.

Peace of mind for parents
The Owlet Dream Sock has been a game changer for us. It’s easy to put on, connects quickly to the app, and gives clear readings throughout the night. I love being able to glance at my phone and see baby’s sleep trends and oxygen levels it makes those middle of the night wakeups less stressful. The fit is secure without being too tight, and the material is soft enough that baby doesn’t even notice it’s on. Setup was simple and the app is user-friendly. The alert sounds are loud and clear you won’t miss them, and they will definitely wake you up if needed. That extra reassurance really helps me sleep better. It’s not the cheapest option out there, but for the comfort and peace of mind it provides, I’d definitely recommend it.

An expensive item to add unwanted stress, never able to get the app to connect so its useless.
So our second child ended up coming quite a bit early and because he was a premie we figured let's get this for peace of mind and to take some fear and stress off us. It ended up being the total opposite of that and just added to my stress and took quite a bit of time away for it to never work in the end.I was never able to get the sock to connect and set up with the app so in the end it just never worked. There is no way for it to be used without the app and so without the app being able to connect all I had an uncomfortable three hundred dollar sock. Every time I would try to set it up which ended up being many many times over the first two months it would try to connect but would put me in an endless loop that got me nowhere.I did try contacting the company but every time I did I was unable to get a hold of someone or called when they were closed. I will say that yes I could have tried harder or set an alarm when I knew there were open but thats the problem I have with this product, in the end you are buying this for a specific reason, the baby has a problem or for your peace of mind. Our baby came early and wanted a way to track and ease our mind and so taking all this extra work to try and make it work was a real hassle. My wife had issues following the birth and we were in and out of the hospital and so finding that extra time in the mix of the slurry my brain was at the time was hard to say the least. So in the end could I have done more to make it work? Sure, but if I am spending 300 bucks on a sock with the same tech as a 30 dollar finger O2 meter I expect it to not need all these extra hoops or there to be the problems like I faced during a time I wasn't able to handle fully. Thats why I paid the extra money in hopes of getting a problem free device.I will say that amazon was great and started a return for me but in the end by my own admission the time had passed from really thinking I could get it to work and in the end we really would have liked to have it. By the time that I gave up and decided to return it I was going to have to take a hit for a restock fee and not get the full amount refunded. It was one problem after another so in the end I just gave up and I think I might try and just give it away to someone and see if they can maybe get it to work. It's sad that in the end I was unable to get it to work and more so because I really would have loved to have an item like this during a time when we had so much going on. It would have been great to have had that piece of mind and take a little stress off us. Unfortunately it ended up adding to our stress and made nothing but problems and never worked. If you've got the time and mental where with all to try to make a 300 dollar sock work during a time where you are handling a newborn then maybe give it a try. I wouldn't recommend it however, my older kids Nintendo was a breeze to set up, a smart TV easy as pie with a guided set up, heck porting over a whole phone of passwords and apps is easy but make a 300 dollar sock link to an app? Makes me feel like a luddite.

Coming from a mom with Postpartum anxiety
I wish I had bought this sooner because it brings me so much peace of mind and I can finally sleep easier. My premie is 6 months old now and has started rolling over at night and I woke up one night to her face down in her crib. She was fine but hasn’t learned to turn her head while sleeping apparently. Now that she’s wearing this I can sleep again knowing that the alarm will wake me up. It tells me that she’s slept on her back all night so she hasn’t been up to her shenanigan’s since wearing it. I love how it tells me the sleep stage too when I check her app. I had a snuza with my older children and loved it but this is a million times better to me.The only con I have found is that sometimes it takes a little bit to hook up to the app but the base circle is green so it’s still monitoring her heart rate and sleep so I’m not too worried about that.Make sure to read the directions so that your little one doesn’t get any sores. I’m assuming it’s like a blister from rubbing on the same foot every night but we haven’t experienced anything like that. There’s also a larger sock for when they outgrow the smaller one.

One of the best baby items we've got
Based on reviews, this might seem like a controversial item. I'm writing this review after using it for over a year now (yes, we got addicted to it). Yes, we had some connectivity issues as well that others mentioned, we had maybe two false "red" alarms over the course of 13 months, but this sock sure gave us a lot of peace of mind in the past 1+ year. Based on our experience, to avoid connectivity issues, the baby's feet should be covered (like footed pajamas or socks), otherwise - yes, you'll be getting "sock placement" alarms. We also found it very valuable when the baby was sick - we could tell right away the baby had fever based on the elevated heart rate, which is great in the middle of the night when you probably don't want to use a rectal thermometer. So overall yes - I definitely recommend it, your peace of mind is worth it.

Love!!
I got this used off of Amazon and it works perfectly. I can finally sleep now. Only thing is I’m the mornings the alarm goes off where he wiggles too much and it says lost connection. That doesn’t make sense considering it’s STILL on his foot and in place. That’s my only issue. But I waited 3 months to get this because everyone says it makes anxiety worse but don’t listen to them. This thing allows me to check his oxygen levels and heart rate before I close my eyes at night. I love this thing so much and wish I got it sooner when I was sleep deprived.
