Well made, works with Merlin 230T
This looks good - a bit like a modern car key - and has a cover to stop accidental pushes. That's a really fine, I'd now say must-have, feature. It's easy to pair it with the receiver/power unit and it works very well.

Zapper dabba don't....
Bother because there no instructions either with the fob or online, so pretty pointless. All the usual combination of button pushing failed too.It didn't look new either.

They actually work!
Tried another (cheaper) version and they didn't work. These worked first time, the instructions made sense, all good. Recommended.

One did not work and no instruction
One of the remotes seems not to work. The other does have blue light sequences pressing the buttons. How do I copy my old remotes? No instruction about that.

Didn’t pair up with door
Despite 3 off theses this one would simply not pair with the door

5 years of use - they work, but poor build quality
Long-term review. We’ve used these for 5 years (almost to the day of writing this)Pairing is straight forward, though I didn’t follow the process correctly first time. In the end, I used the pairing process described by the door opener manufacturer and that worked fine.Five years on and only one button works on each remote, so I’m replacing them again. for £20, it’s OK, but they started to break pretty quickly.Within the first month slide cover stopped locking in place. As you see, I placed some tape on the body to add a little friction. This was a good enough hack.By the end of year 1 buttons were failing. And between 6 - 18 months we went from 4 buttons to 2 on each remote. We have 2 doors, so we only needed 2 buttons so we lived with it. But now one remote has no functioning buttons. The LED glows on the remote, but the door doesn’t lift. The silicone button parts folds in a lot, especially if you press the button a little to firmly. It’s easy enoughTo fix, though on occasion I’ve had to open the case to get it right.Battery replace mr is simple and the battery is easy to get hold of. They last well too. I think I’ve changed the battery once on each. All in all, we made them work and given they get used a few times a day, they’ve been ok.I’m not going to recommend them, as really you need to decide if you can manage the maintenance of them, but if you even slightly handy, these should be ok for you.
