This is one of few IT books I'd recommand. Reading this book really save a lot of grindings in advancing my career. The knowledge shared in the book is came from real and actual practice in the IT field. I wish there are more authors like Jay.This book is a treasure to me, it is unlike most of the other books I read that were either teaching outdated config or title baits, for example, the "official" CCNP 350-401 book that taught me the outdated ikev1 crypto map config. I own the LPI essential certificate during my college time, but the college course didn't give me the same confidence as this book. I am now feeling very comfortable and confident with Linux system and I found the beauty in it.I am 100% recommanding this book to everyone are interested in Linux, either for personal or at work. This book will be my reference to go at all time.

I've been following Jay on youtube since I decided to ditch Microsoft for Linux. He is a blend of Sys Admin and teacher. He makes a complicated subject understandable even to a 75 year old retiree. The best way to master Ubuntu server is to listen, watch, read and do. Thanks Jay; GOOD BOOK!

This book provides good experience and examples to make you successful right from the start.

I’ve been using Ubuntu for a couple years and know how to deploy web applications and use basic commands, but I lack foundational knowledge that would allow me to take on more advanced tasks. I perused the book and it looks like exactly what I needed, not too dense, but it goes into enough depth to cover what an Ubuntu server administrator should know.Note: Sticky, sweet smelling residue on book, but that was able to be removed with a little soap and water.

Very well written. Everything is clear and well organized. It serves as a good overview of the Ubuntu server and also as a rich reference for specific arguments.

The latest version provides everything one needs to create and secure an Ubuntu server.Fantastic book Jay!

This is a great book. I have learned a lot from Jay's YT channel and this book is no different. It covers everything you need to know.

This book is not a Comprehensive Guide as Everything in it can be found online for Free. Book does not go into any level of detail why 22.04 is using internal loopback IPs vs static in host file. Nor does it go into custom compiling any program such as apache or nginx. This book is not worth the money they have it priced at .
