This was a stocking filler for a family member who loves Red wine, he said it was a great wee product easy to use and doesn't miss a drop out your bottle.

Really good product and not cheap and flimsy

We did a blind taste test with this and could easily spot an improvement. It works extremely well. Well worth getting. Just follow the instructions when the level of wine gets low if you want to avoid wearing your wine.

Upon first use the motor did not work so the item did not function. The return process postage would have cost more than the product so paid for this to be fixed. Inside none of the connection wires had been soldered to their terminals so just thrown together.Now it works it is a useful item. Only one star for receiving this in an unusable condition 4 stars in working condition.

This is interesting. Very clever, and it seems to work. “Seems” because I’m judging after just a couple of days, not five weeks. I can believe the wine will remain in good condition after first pouring though. The principle is similar to a wine box, after all, ensuring air is kept away from the wine. And we’ve certainly taken a couple of weeks to empty a wine box before now.I have to ask why I’d want it though. If I open a bottle of quality wine, I’m likely to want to finish it while it’s at its best (where “I” means I and whoever’s with me!). With a cheaper bottle, I might keep half until the next day, but then a Vacu Vin and storage in the fridge does the job.If, however, you do want to make a bottle of wine last more than a day or two after opening, the Sensio device could make a good investment. It’s likely to do a better job than a Vacu Vin even over 24 hours, let alone several weeks. And it’s good that no extras are required – gas cylinders or whatever.Using it is a bit of a performance – see the video. It isn’t difficult, though, and is likely to intrigue guests. The “system” is attractively packaged and does work well, so could make a good gift for a wine lover.I should add that I wish it weren’t made in China. I try not to contribute to the Chinese economy, given many of China’s activities around the world. Still, at least it’s sold by a British company, so I’d probably cave in and buy anyway.

Bought this as a gift, my brother loves it but says it does tend to spit the wine slightly towards the end of the bottle. Have some kitchen roll handy.

It's quite big but it definitely does work. Really handy to have especially as I dont drink too often it saves me from chucking out half bottles.
