Star Wars L0-LA59 (Lola) Animatronic Edition, Obi-Wan Kenobi Series-Inspired Electronic Droid Toy, Toy for Kids Ages 4 and Up

When I saw the price I knew I had to snag one of these. I’ve since repainted mine but the features are the same. I’m a cosplayer, so having this with me at conventions was a hit! Kids loved it and it added a nice interactive feature to my costume. It’s also just a great display piece. It comes with 2 different stands, a clear “floating” stand and a stand with little legs as seen in the show. The battery life is great, having only changed them once in 2 months. The quality is really nice, the paint job it comes with is very clean, so if you want to make it look more worn like the show, all you need is some silver paint and a black wash and you’re sorted! A few caveats I’ll address: 1. The full movement is only activated when on a stand piece, when it isn’t on a stand the “wings” don’t move and it just lights up and makes noises. A quick fix for this, on the legs stand, the connection at the top can be removed via a small screw, simply unscrew and pop the top part off, then connect it to the bottom of Lola, now when you hold it in your hand, she has full range of motion. 2. There isn’t an off switch, as a play feature, she can be activated by noise or rubbing the top of her disc. Once on, you have to wait for her to switch off by herself, leaving her in a quiet area for a little while will then deactivate her. Having a small switch would’ve been ideal to avoid accidental activation which you now have to sit through her noises for a few minutes until she switches off. 3. She’s a little bigger than her on screen version, on screen she fits in the palm of a small child, this version is a little chunkier meaning kids will need two hands to hold her steady.

Great product for a star wars droid fan , I purchased two as I customised one . People say there is no off switch that is false , if you hold down the sensor it will turn off . Definitely worth the money and is a fun little interactive droid, Ive had no issues with functionality which is a plus .

The product is really nice but bit expensive. Should have more features.

I bought the Star Wars L0-LA59 (Lola) toy for my daughter, and she absolutely loves it! The toy features basic movements and sounds, but that hasn't diminished her enjoyment. Lola's design is adorable, and it captures the essence of the Star Wars character perfectly. While the features are simple, they are engaging enough to keep her entertained. If your child is a Star Wars fan, this toy is sure to be a hit despite its simplicity.

Briliant toy, really good movement and sound

My husband is really pleased with his new toy! He's the biggest star wars fan I know, to the point of going as far as having his face carved into Anakins scar into a tattoo & changing his name to lord Anakin Luke skywalker! He was really excited to receive it. Lola can pertch on her transparent stand to give the effect of a hover or connect her legs for her to stand on, you can activate her by pushing the bottom on the top as well as speak or clap to get the attention of Lola, although these are great features I think Hasbo should of made lola flyable as a drone also, to give the real life effect anyone who has seen Obi Wan Kenbo series would know, either way that's just my opinion. I think the pricing is around about fair as this is standard for all the droids released, Hasbo also decided to bring the date forward to release lola earlier, than the original date of release in December.

My grandson loved it. It's with his star wars collection and looks good.

Great little droid for the price - not sure that it’s animatronic or just replays the same string of movements / sounds each time but either way Lola is adorable

Batteries not included. Heavier than I expected. Limited expression.. but what she does have is impressive and full of personality. Definitely well above toy quality with only a little weathering to make her look like right off the screen - with motion, lights, and sound to top it off! Highly recommended for any Star Wars fan!
