Not a good smell

I requested this hoping it would be a good product for one of us. My husband has a beard and I ran it under his nose and he is reacted that it was very strong. I think it smells very good. I love Neroli. If I were to describe the scent of this product I would say it smell like light honeysuckle. I'd be happy to find this scent on my husband's beard but I don't think he wants it there. Disappointing.My skin gets very dry and fragile in the winter and my fingernails get sharp. I was also hoping to soften and protect my hands and softend my nails. This product does soften my hands. You have to be careful to not put too much or it won't absorb in and you will have oily feeling hands. But right now my hands feel soft, non-oily and smell very good. Husband says its smells good as long as I don't put it in his face (where he smells too much of it at once). .For use on a beard its probably really good if he is happy with this slightly sweet scent.I am using it on hands, feet and lips and I really like it.

It's a good beard balm and keeps my beard pretty much in-place all day. So the hold is probably the strongest attribute.The balm itself is very soft, almost more what I could consider a beard butter than a balm, but it still provides a good hold. A potential downside with the butter-like consistency is that I can feel the oils pooling up on my cheeks quickly. My skin doesn't tend to do well with oils sitting in one place, but that might be applicable to other people.And I'm not sure what a "Neroli" scent is supposed to smell like, but to me I describe it as "spicy" because it feels like freshly cut pine needles with a very distinct/sharp scent. It seems like a really appropriate scent for the holidays, but I am not excited about sitting in a face-mask throughout the workday with this strong scent lingering.

Recipient said he liked the scent but worked in a close environment at a technical electronics maker, so it caused some issue with co-workers. He was happy to use it for going out and at home. He has a prominent beard, and it softened it and made it less scratchy to his better half. The cost was pretty reasonable for two containers. A little goes a long way and makes the scent a little less overpowering. Had he worked outdoors, I think it could be used in a work environment that's not close quarters with others. Recommended.

This stuff smells amazing, and my wife loves it - honestly, that's the most important part. However, unlike some other beard products, this balm is easy to use as well. What I mean is it's not a rock-hard puck of wax or anything. You can rub your fingers around and get a good amount out without having to really dig into it.It does a decent job with holding my beard where it needs to be, especially for a balm (as opposed to a wax). It keeps my beard moderately soft, and also doesn't build up, so there's no weird beard shape when I wake up the next day. I don't find it too oily at all, as it tends to absorb into my beard throughout the day. I hope this was helpful - I'd definitely recommend this balm, as it works really well, smells great, gets compliments from the significant other, and as a bonus, comes with 2 cans!
