Avoid
The description of the product as "standard" is misleading. The connecting pipe to the wall is only suitable up to 225mm. So this will fit only specific washbasins that are wall hung. This bottle trap is NOT suitable for counter top or vanity basins that are installed away from the wall. I am now stuck with this bottle trap as there are no returns. Even the smallest bottle trap from Grohe is suitable up to 245mm and the "standard" model from Grohe is suitable up to 300mm. So nothing standard about this Hansgrohe bottle trap.Also, the finish of the connecting pipe is rather poor with both sides of the connecting pipe having edge burrs. See attached pictures. The Grohe bottle trap I bought after this has clean and smooth edges and suitable up to 300mm!
