Sprouted Flax Golden Organic Traditions 8 oz Bag

Pro: I purchased this brand because I wanted an alternative option in case my favorite Sprout Revolution sprouted flaxseed powder was not available on Amazon. The price per ounce is currently the same for both brands products, but come in either the two packages of 16 oz. packages set with Sprout Revolution or this smaller pack of one 8 oz. package of flaxseed powder. This is good for those who either do not consume as much flaxseed as I usually do, or as in my case, wanted to test another option for whenever they might not have it in stock. Nutritionally, the ingredients appear to be comparable based upon the package information, which is good. The flavor of the powder is not quite as sweet tasting in this brand as my favorite is, but that may be because of the soil it is grown in so it is definitely an option for me at this point. I always add organic cacao powder and organic Ceylon Cinnamon when I make this supplemental breakfast each day and use a large enough Lock & Lock container to mix up enough of it to last me 2 weeks so it is simpler for me than to serve what I need without having to reuse the foil packaging each day. I use a Anchor Hocking or Pyrex 1 cup bowl to mix the 2 heaping Tbsp. in it with cool water and add fresh blueberries or sometimes banana or peach slices to enjoy the different flavors. Benefits are many, but especially will keep you regular and healthy! Never use hot water as heat destroys the nutrients of both the flaxseed powder and fresh fruit. Flaxseed powder will thicken even in cool water after a minute or so and it's quite delicious. Great for those folks who like to drink their breakfast smoothies also with fruit juices instead of water. Just add it after you blend everything else.Con: None for me! However, if you want a hot cereal this is not the best option for you. Hope my review helps folks decide if this is for them! Enjoy!

I ordered organic sprouted flax seeds for my mom. I always purchase this product because it has fast shipping and I always receive great products, even though it's from overseas. The taste is also good. I recommend it for menopausal women.

Blends well and tastes good in protein shakes, yogurt, and a variety of dishes. I like that it is organic, and it is the sprouted. I will purchase this again.

We eat a lot of flax seed in our house, in addition to giving it to our dog everyday. I love that this flax seed is sprouted and organic. The flavor is there, but very subtle when mixed with other things. I definitely recommend it.

I eat it by the spoonful it is pretty tasty. I was always concerned about eating non- sprouted chia seeds in the past but now I don't have to worry about it. I put it in my oatmeal and yogurt every day.

It contains things that causes cancer. No wonder they don't show the back label so you can't see the warning... wasted my money..
