H&P Medical History and Physical Examination Daily Notebook, 100 templates, New Blue Cover

REALLY helpful for beginners trying to learn how to organize taking an H&P as well as for pros who just need a little help organizing patient info. Wish there was some blank pages, but otherwise very nice!

I’m a first year medical student, and I would describe myself as someone who learns by doing. This has been a great tool for getting accustomed to doing an H&P! Using this notebook helped me to be much more confident when first taking a history and then I gradually weaned myself off of it. A word of caution that you won't always be able to rely on something like this - standardized patient testing and just depending on who your attending physician is. However, when permissible, I still use this notebook because it's just a great tool to keep yourself more organized and to double check yourself for leaving anything out!

I'm a nursing student and I thought this might help however, I'm having second thoughts. The print is very small, the pages look cheap, like it was poorly photocopied, the covers are thin cardboard like material. Just not what I was expecting then again it was the cheapest SBAR nursing type book one here. I might return it. It does have useful and somewhat thorough head to toe assessment where you can easily check off what you observed/findings. But it might be too much info for this nursing student, great for pre-med student.

The print on this is so tiny, it's not practical to use. Find another version - save your sanity.

Good buy for medical students. Helps you to be able to present your patient in an organized manner to your attending without missing pertinent details about the patient.

I graduate nursing school in May. I bought this book because it was small, easy to carry around, and would keep me organized/not let me forget to assess things. I have my own version of this that my clinical professor gave us but was on printer paper and took up 3 pages. For how many patients I see on a regular basis, this would waste a lot of paper. That's why this book is perfect. I can't wait to start using it! I highly recommend.

So useful for organizing patient's information. I am currently an NP student and use this to keep records for Elog encounters. Plus the book gives you different prompts for various questions to ask patients.
